Why bother with an agreed amount of months in a contract then if they can change it when they feel like it. What a waste of their and my time, and money, in renegotiating the same deal I was already committed to.
What?????.....have you read any of this thread??.........most people are getting it cheaper, including me, with not a lot of effort!! If you don't like the service it's a get out of jail card and leave now or suck it up till the end of the contract and then do it!!0 -
shocked to discover almost £35 DD deduction compared to usual £29.99 for fibre plus weekend calls - 18 month contract taken out in Dec 17
Received no email or post notification of impending price rise so assumed would not be affected
Have contacted BT today who said that price rise notification email was sent out on 26 June (I had received no emails from them) and that as window to cancel penalty free has passed I am bound by contract until June 2019
They have escalated it to the policy complaints team or such like who will get back within 7 working days
Does anyone have any advice for challenging this price hike?YO!0 -
