Belated happy birthday for yesterday... and I am in awe of how in control you are of your finances. Everything still firmly crossed for the house move being swift and easy. Hope your ds is feeling a bit better. Not giving up

Thank you all for your kind birthday wishes. As it was, the pizza and movie plans went out of the window as we were both so tired and DS was full and don’t want much to eat so we didn’t bother and will do it a different day.DS is sleeping better now but I still haven’t had a good night of sleep and it’s taking its toll. I now seem to have developed some sort of virus which wouldn’t normally concern me but with things as they are, I have booked a COVID test for tomorrow morning. I actually had one booked for tonight between 7.30 & 8pm but when we got there it turns out there was a ‘computer error’ as the site actually closes at 7pm despite allowing bookings until 8pm. It was a wasted 25 mile round trip for us which I wasn’t best pleased about. I don’t have the 3 most common symptoms but I do have some of the other less common symptoms and seem to have developed a bit of a dry tickly cough too tonight. Fingers crossed it’s nothing nasty.Mortgage @ 03/2019: £125,000, Now: £51,956.86

Thank you enthusiasticsaver.
Still feeling rough today. I slept better, although still woke up a few times, but there seems to be real peaks and troughs of feeling well then rough again. I had the test this morning and felt a bit like a criminal tbh. Hats off to the people working at these drive through tests centres, it must be quite stressful, but one guy was rather aggressive which there was no need for. Hopefully the result comes back sooner rather than later but will aim for another early night tonight. It's typical - first lovely sunny day in ages, DS on hols, rules on going out relaxed a little and we have to stay in.
I've spent a bit of my birthday money on some jeans, hoodies and comfy trousers for home. I had one pair of sweatpant type trousers which I have been wearing around the house but they are so bobbly and worn out now that I'm embarrassed by them. I had to throw another pair of jeans out this morning as they were worn, another went to the drawer to wear for painting and gardening and only two other pairs fit me so it was quite necessary. I ordered some clothes a month or so ago but had to send most of it back as it didn't fit or looked awful, hopefully this shop will be more successful.
No house news. I did receive the property information form and a few other bits from the sellers (via my solicitor) yesterday, but they have filled one very important part in wrong, so it's likely they'll have to do those again. The survey is hopefully being completed today. I hope it comes back ok or I will be gutted. I've not contacted removals or thought about packing yet, I'm not doing that until things are further along or will just end up having to unpack if it all goes belly up.

Urgh, I don't feel well.
Two covid tests have come back negative so I think I have a chest infection. I am prone to them and they usually drag on for months, turning into pneumonia last time, although the last was 2 years ago when I moved into this house. I guess it was inevitable being as tired and run down as I was. I've emailed the doctor via the online appointment thingy, it can take them 2 days to reply though.
Can totally do without feeling this rough whilst trying to carry on with everything tbh.

Oh so sorry, if you dont get any joy from the doctors ring 111 and explain the situation to them, you obviously need some medication to help you, sending you virtual hugs in the mean time x2
