Oh, now I'm arguing with myself. There was a couple, she was American and they bought a Victorian Terrace house in Richmond. She had the exterior walls rebuilt to make them 'straight' and the insides removed so they basically rebuilt the entire house. And they still put a kitchen in the middle with no windows too. And no room for a bath so they had a tiny but deep Japanese bath.
And you could tell they were lying when they got their valuations which showed them making a loss and they reckoned they'd already had an offer for £75,000 more. I even checked nethouseprices for it not that long ago.
I think that maybe that was my favourite, not the pink sisters.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

I actually viewed the 'pink sisters' property it was'nt to far from me! Think they knew i was being a nosey git buy hey ho.
tv did not do it justice it was more hideous in real life!! :rotfl: some very nice touches but the kitchen was awful, the showroom they got that from cupboard love is just round the corner from my house, they have toned down there displays in recent years!!
As for the gay girls in the terrace in wales omg what an obnoxious pair!!! And i remeber the american woman dozzer, took every wall and deiling floor out to rebuild it all!!! then put that crappy bath in!!!0 -
I actually watched the one last night - brilliant! Who else thinks the couple with the extended cottage are going to get divorced?
He was the most useless project manager in the world, and every time she said "um, dear - don't you think we should...", he was so angry! He looked like he would go off on one if the cameras weren't there, and yet Sarah Beeny agreed with everything she said (and vice-versa).

Yeah, right - I wondered that! You could just about see they'd built a staircase down to the ground level, but I'd love to see what it was like down there. Kids would love it :rolleyes:Mortgage | £145,000Unsecured Debt | [strike]£7,000[/strike] £0 Lodgers | |0 -
I couldn't believe how that couple were still expecting to make a shedload of cash when the garage was still sliding down the hill! It was if they just wanted to forget about and hope it would go away.
As for the guy with useless garage- if it takes that long to get planning maybe it's not a good idea. Felt sorry for the wife, don't think she had a ny idea what was going off and just went along with it for a quiet life. Why don't people listen to the Beeney!April £5 a day challenge- £15.05/£1500
