If a there is a "no deal" Brexit scenario. What are the travel insurance ramifications?
Please see this LINK
As I have a holiday booked to Malta for Easter 2019 (i.e. post brexit) with the flights and hotel booked separately. If there are no flights due to a no deal, will travel insurance cover the cost of flights and hotel? I have Nationwide flexplus.
Thanks

I hope the EU are willing to explain to all the EU travellers who want to fly to the U.K. post 29/3/19 why they're stuck at the airport0

Do you think that no people from Europe would want to come to the UK,something will be sorted out,a lot of the things being printed by the media are scare stories.0

The only people who can give you the answers about any implications/issues are the travel insurance providers.

If you consider that premiums haven't risen to cover such eventualities, then perhaps the answer is no.Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0

if your flight was cancelled then the airline would refund the fare.
However, the EU income would be drastically cut by refusing flights from UK so unlikely to happen.
There would also be the option to travel via a non EU country.0 -
