I think it depends on which version of the forum you're on. It used to be really easy - clicked the name and the drop down included the option to ignore poster. I haven't been able to do it that way for ages though, now it means clicking through three or four different things.

Has this thread now become the new all improved Brexit thread? Or did I miss something whilst being in an MSE induced comma?

Strange. I just tried it in chrome too and it's there for me. Normally I'd investigate as it could make finding a cure simpler, but since MSE has no interest (or at least time or resources), there's little point.
