I'm a lurker there. TBB's horrendous message board software has always put me off from registering. Which is just as well, 'cos if I was a forum member there, I'd turn into Basil Fawlty and hit adslmanuel repeadteadly while shouting:

I'm sick of you posting your speed tests every bloody 5 minutes!... Will you just stop asking about new segments!... What on earth possessed you to take pictures of women on cruise ships and film bartenders while they're at work!!!... She must be fancy me? (sic)... Did you learn English from a chimpanzee?!

    :p

that sounds like DJ (....max) i think the general consensus is that he's 'not all there' so he's generally treat quite nicely.
As to the way the board works, no pretty pictures or buttons to add links, worried me at first, i had the 'how to use markup' page loaded for a week or so, now i use markup on all forums, and here i can just fill the quick reply box and type whatever i want, i could even add [blue]colour[/blue] if i really wanted (if it works)

edit - looks like it didn't work, oh well...

  • I'd just come to the end of my madasafish broadband contract and was looking around for something cheaper than my £14.99 for up to 8MB speed and 5GB download limit package. But when I rang them up to get my MAC code I was instantly offered the same package for 12mths @ £12.99 per month plus a free wireless router (all I had to pay was £5.95 P&P). Next time I phoned I said I'd seen offers for new customers getting 6mths @ £9.99, then £12.99 for remaining 6mths and guess what? I was offered 12mths @ £9.99! Excellent!!!

    Pretty good eh?

Plus, no waiting around for new service provider to come online - seamless transition!:j:rotfl::T Whoopee!

Do you want a cheap service or a good service? Because with broadband, you get what you pay for. Cheap cost = cheap performance & customer service.

You wont find anything cheaper than £10 that doesn't use a landline.

Your alternatives are the mobile operators broadband.

You would be better resolving your charging problem with Virgin rather than throwing your toys out of the pram, as you won't get cheaper elsewhere!
 Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:
