A few people on here have described my OP as spam, despite the fact that it has received hundreds of thanks from newbies. I know that some of you think that is is repetitious, it is, but so are Government exhortations to keep washing ones hands. .

Some of the templates need a proofreading for spelling. The formatting needs attention and much tidying up and links need checking.Nine times out of ten your posts are templates regulars have seen for years, so when I see a long string of threads where your posts are the last showing I simply mark the forum as 'read', meaning I might miss those inputs from you that are helpful. It simply takes too much time to be opening each thread only to be faced with template responses.Above all meant to be constructive. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

I will check the templates for errors, but there is little that I can do about the formatting, I just do not have the IT skills required. You never know how far you can go until you go too far.1

It would be better right now to join me in encouraging everyone to complete the two Government consultation and give newbies the links, to make it easy. Copy this if you like:
AND - please now make a real difference - A TASK FOR SEPTEMBER.
The Government is (this month only) consulting about a new statutory code of practice (CoP) and framework to rein in the rogue parking firms. Read and comment on the draft CoP proposal and the enforcement framework consultation, and get everyone you know to do the same.
You will need to register to comment on the CoP and enter an occupation even if you are retired or a homemaker, but otherwise it is easy to navigate, and comment upon each section/subsection individually. You can save comments to edit later and or submit comments once you are happy with them.

You do not need to register to comment on the enforcement framework which can be found here. It has a link on page 5 to make comments.

At the very least, we say the parking charge level should be £50/£25 or higher level £70/£35, as per Council PCNs in E&W.
And we say the added fake 'debt recovery' costs are just double counting the cost of letters, and MUST GO because that is unfair and illegal.
Please be heard. You can bet the hundreds of PPCs will be commenting. No apologies for repeating this vital 'call for action' to consumers, on every thread this month!

How would I do that? If I too were to post your post then surely accusations of spamming would be justified.

I agree with C-m about adding comments concerning the two consultations to your standard template post; indeed, I mentioned this on another thread when your template was referred to as spam.
Telling people to complain to their MP is good advice, but right now telling people about the draft CoP is absolutely essential. We won't get another chance.
You do need to check your templates, as well as checking where you are posting having seen one appear on a thread I started, and appearing twice on other threads.I married my cousin.
