It all sounds too good to be true.0

Why??
This is a modest cashback offer compared to the recent cashbacks form Kuflink, Fineco, Orbis, and many many p2p lenders etc (all of which came good) and also very modest compared to switching offers.
Why do you doubt this one?0 -
You're taking that thread seriously? Really? Have you read the replies to the OP? (many of them from me)0

I have been following these comments closely. Can someone advise. Apart from Raisin / Meteor acting as middlemen, once your funds are transferred by them to Gatehouse does all future communication come directly to you from Gatehouse ie advising of ac count number etc0

No, your arrangement is via Raisin and you access via Raisin/Meteor. You have no direct contact, before or after, with Gatehouse (if that's the bank you choose).
The message on your dashboard after login states:These accounts are administered by Meteor Asset Management and Meteor Investment Management who process your application and cash respectively. Cash and deposits are held in trust where you remain the beneficial owner. All balance and transaction data is provided by Meteor Asset Management, acting as Bare Trustee.
Edited to add: But, as pointed out elsewhere, you can, of course, open an account with gatehouse for the same % anyway. the only advantage of going via Raisin is that they pay a £50 bonus if you deposit £1000.
So if you wanted to, say, deposit £5000 with gatehouse at 2% you could do that via Raisin, and get your £50 bonus and have the £5k held in trust for you at Gatehouse. Or you could just deposit £1000 via Raisin, get the same £50 but only £1k held in trust and open an account with Gatehouse direct for the other £4k. If you feel more in control that way.0
