    Thanks for the heads up on this.

    Duly opened icici 1 year each, with £1000. £50 bonus makes this a very attractive deal. Effectively 6.95%
    :beer::beer:

    ( assuming the bonus pays out....will send email next week)
    How's it going, AKA, Nutwatch? - 12 month spends to date = 2.57% of current retirement "pot" (as at end May 2024)

    When you open the account with Raisin, is it instant or are you likely to have to wait a couple of days to see if you have been accepted?

    Opening an account with Raisin is, as far as can recall, instant. I can't see why you wouldn't accepted.

    Paying in some money and waiting for them to transfer it to a bank savings account takes a couple of days though.
