    Hello

    I'm back. I'm going to go for £10 a day, please. I'm hoping that'll more attainable. :)

I've started off with my Halifax reward and some mileage expenses.

    Hello everyone

Well done to those off to a good start.

I have decided to open a separate account for money made/saved and if I count something in this challenge to transfer it to the account which I can then use to pay off credit cards etc. I went for a Metro bank basic account as they have branches in all the nearby towns and are open late and on Sundays. They were very helpful and they print your debit card there and then so I am up and running. I also like the money counting machines although I think they are aimed at children :rotfl:

So, today I used a £6 moc in Tesco and have a massive 63p interest to add. Will transfer this amount to the new account in a mo. So total now £6.63

    Back to work tomorrow :(

I'm really sorry to hear of your internet problems, Aesop. It must be a nightmare for you as you have so many devices on the go and the situation seems to have been unresolved for so long now. Sending hugs :kisses3:

I've had a very frustrating weekend with tech issues too, although not connection woes this time. PlusNet are really good and have ironed out any connection issues really quickly and efficiently:T:j. This time it was problems with kit, a battery problem with the laptop which won't charge so I have to keep it tethered which is a pain:(. I've also lost the charger for my mobile phone:o. You may remember that my niece gave me a lovely Motorola smartphone a few months ago as a 'thank you' gift for some decorating I did in her new home. I barely used it at the time and decided to get a SIM-only deal from PlusNet as they were doing a special 'mates rates' price for their internet customers recently and to ditch Virgin. The SIM arrived a few days ago but the phone's battery has run down and I can't find the box with the charger and instructions in anywhere:mad:. I can download the user manual online but I need the charger. Nothing else I have fits. The house was in chaos (more than it usually is:o) all yesterday. Going to have to buy a replacement but as I have £65 in Amazon vouchers from Shop&Scan and elsewhere I'll see if I can get one on Amazon and a laptop battery as well. Shouldn't mess up my savings plan too much if I do.

I bought something on Amazon last week and got a 7 day Prime trial for 99p. Must remember to cancel when it runs out on Wednesday but in the meantime I might as well make the most of it;) and order what I need asap.

I thought the thread was really quiet, I'd not had any email notifications come through. Realised I hadn't subscribed. lol.

    All subscribed now. :)

I've claimed £5 for paypal from swagbucks but won't count it until it arrives. I've also been given some restaurant vouchers that I'm considering selling but not sure where to get the best price. Does anyone have any experience?
