Last day of the month.
17 NSDs. Pleased with that as I was only aiming for 10.
Still a tiny bit of money left in the household budget even though we bought quite a lot of things for the Boy and didn't resist the YS bargains. Positive is lots of food already in for next month .
Did eat lots of salad and fruit but the amount of stuff in the freezer kind of scuppered the healthy eating but not to bad. Same cannot be said of avoiding alcohol. The lure a couple of glasses of ice cold sparkly wine in this heat is too much to resist (well that's my excuse).
I have to confess I have been very. very lazy this month. Really must do better.
Glad you enjoyed your break, Mothernerd and thanks for hosting June. I truly do not know how you manage to fit so much in to your life.
Still very hot here. Paddling pool is out, noise levels rising as we speak. Have a good weekend everyone and roll on July.

.Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.0 -
Your holiday with your mum sounds lovely, mothernerd. You do not buy much for yourself and I think that having clothes that make you feel good about yourself is a vital part of looking after yourself.

Thanks to all Turtles for being fab!!0 -
Sorry I haven't been around much. I was trying to keep up but then the marking went potty this last week and all extra activities like mse and sleep got put on hold!
I've finished June with 18/10+ NSDs and have ALMOST paid off my credit card. £400 has been paid leaving the grand sum of £1.82. Next month I will pay it off completely and not let mild ocd get in the way. Then I can claim to be debt free and mortgage free. Just need to stay that way!"A thousand candles can be lit from a single candle without shortening the life of that candle."
I still am Puddleglum - phew!0 -
Thanks for the motivation to do well this month, mothernerd.
Congratulations to greent and whispered congratulations to Puddleglum. Less than £2 in debt should be celebrated. I would!
See you on the other side.........4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!

Evening all
Your holiday sounds lovely Mothernerd, and it was great that you found some new clothes that you love
June has gone very quickly (well, I think so), my totals for June were:
NSDs - 12 / 10
Groceries / cleaning / toiletries / pet food etc £293.24 / £250
Fuel 191.85 / £100 :eek::eek:
I have exceeded my budgets, but have plenty of food in to start off July. I was shocked by the fuel , OH says it has gone up. He did a couple of long trips, and certainly at the beginning of the month, I wasn't able to walk far due to my surgery, so I guess we have used more than usual. It doesn't help that we have a couple of gas guzzlersAnd I guess we are all struggling with rising prices, for food as well as other things
'See' you all in July!0
