Another NSD which brings me to 4 - I'm not going to make 5 this week but it's a start!
Expenses have come through so that's 30 quid to the good. But I do need to pay for school lunches, plus the kids need some clothes and other bits at the weekend. Still, the only transactions on my account for the last week have been bills and (reasonable) grocery shopping.
Today I'm grateful for free cake at work and getting one big project signed off. Also cooking with my eldest who wants to make a cake this evening :j0 -
Managed another 3 NSD's since Sunday - today was a spend day as needed to buy my special milk but the supermarket had none in so got a different type which will have to do.
This takes me up to 17 - hopefully be able to get another 2 before month ends.0 -
Sorry if I have missed it but has anyone volunteered to run July's challenge?
If they haven't I am happy to do it if people want me as their leader?0 -
Eager Elephant I don't think anyone has volunteered yet.No Spend November 2/15 and SPC 1340

A - Will definitely be asking if it is necessary before purchasing. Not needed to do today. Achieved my to do list in work today.
J - 18/20 NSD. Was an NSD today.
U - Will be looking into cupboards etc and make sure I will not buy unnecessary and use what already in. Used what I had in.
N - No need today. Had lunch in work.
E -Have to make a special effort to more healthy eating. Could do better. Had cake with custard and an ice cream.
O - Will do.
D -Savings sorted out for the month.
E - Walked to bus stop from work and doing errands around the school.
S - Have set my budgets.
S - All done for the month now.
E - Checked in.
Y - The usual mindfulness colouring, reading, wordsearch. Another early night again and at least I am having a good night's sleep this week. Learnt that I am at the school until the end of term from the HR manager. Got the books I ordered - Living a life you love(a Christian book and also the study guide to go along with the book) and How to live plastic free.Frugal Living Challenge 2025 Mortgage free as of 1st August 20130 -
E_E - I think greent offered to do July. One of you could move to August? You'll both be awesome!
Kerry Woman - those books sounds good.
Today I am grateful for dd having a great day, for a good day at work myself, for clearing things out, for amenable children taking said things to the big bins for me, for the air con in liddle (!), for upping the weight for my workout, for getting through some more marking, for a peaceful eveing.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -

Evening everyone,
Have notched up NSD #7 today.
Sent £29.71 to the EF, that’s £73.86 added in total this month. Will have more to add in the next day or so.
Finished reading my 4th book of the month, won’t reach my target of 5 but my last one was about double the size of the books I normally read.VSPC 2019 #10 - £168.80/£100 VSPC 2020 #4 - £262.03/£200 VSPC 2021 #9 - £242.88/£200 VSPC 2022 #3 - £188.03/£200 VSPC 2023 #7 - £0/£2000 -
Sneaking in shamefacedly, as I haven't checked in for a while, though I always read every post. I have gone over my budgets too
.
However, the large bills I had to pay this month are now fully paid, and we haven't gone into debt. Only 2 more days in June, and from now on I will be aiming to replace the savings / emergency funds usedHopefully OH will cooperate
