It's a great thing to do, well done.
But once the dust has settled you must make sure that she has reported this incident as you don't want this coming back onto your doorstep.1

Police are involved - Apparently, several neighbours dialed 999 and did their best to remove Miss A before the (ex) partner unalived her. In the time it took for the police to arrive, the flat was totally trashed, and Miss A only managed to recover a small suitcase of clothes/belongings.MultiFuelBurner said: But once the dust has settled you must make sure that she has reported this incident as you don't want this coming back onto your doorstep.

We keep a little inflatable bed just in case we have more guests than beds available. It is a good bit more comfortable than the floor.

I have a choice of a camping mat, single inflatable, or a double. Miss A slept just fine on the double last night, although she did comment that it was a bit warm in the lounge.Local council are only offering temporary accommodation in a homeless shelter for a few nights. She doesn't currently meet their requirements for longer term help as she doesn't have any connections in this area. Currently exploring other options, but even house shares are in short supply - Used to be 150-180 people looking for accommodation on spareroom in *this area. Today, it is over 400, and Christmas is always a bad time of year to be looking anyway.

As someone who slept in airports many many times, I would never complain about the lounge being too warmFreeBear said: Local council are only offering temporary accommodation in a homeless shelter for a few nights. Is there maybe Emmaus Charity nearby, if so, could they help by chance?

Family moved elsewhere just over a year later. Not that they would have had space to accommodate Miss A anyway.sheramber said: As she moved to be closer to family can they not help her?
