Got home from work this evening and find the kitchen in a bit of a mess. Miss A informs me that she had tried several times to get the hob working but it kept cutting out. Meh... I really can't be ar**d to look at it now, so a microwave dinner will have to do. Will look at the hob in the morning.
Her courage will change the world.

Panic over. Turned the child lock off, then turned the ring on under the pan. All working fine.Penny dropped that Miss A had been trying to turn on a different ring to the one that the pan was on. Hob has a sensor that will automatically turn the ring off if no pan is detected. Her courage will change the world.

Should I be worried ?Miss A has started to take an interest in the stories of Ed Gein, Dennis Nilsen, and Armin Meiwes... Maybe I should hide the set of big kitchen knifes I got at Christmas. Her courage will change the world.

Well, it was good while it lasted. Miss A has decided to move way up north to be closer to family. Going to miss her cheerful smile and the banter.

Well, this is unexpected. Miss A turned up on my doorstep late yesterday after being severely beaten by her (hopefully ex) partner. Spare room is currently occupied by another young lady, so Miss A is wrapped up in a duvet on the lounge floor. Far from ideal, but it is better than some random homeless hostel or womens' refuge.

You're a good man, FreeBear.
Has she reported him? What are the chances of her ex trying to track her down? You know what I'm saying...0
