Lodger wanting to cook

Great to hear about prescription.
I've had a dreadful time with Superdrug and I'm trying Echo next.
As for food, keep trying for online slots. It takes us both several days to find one, by logging in multiple times a day across several sites. Sounds like lodger is home a lot so she could try.
With cat food try ZooPlus, Pets at Home etc, or just Google your normal product to find where it's sold online and who can deliver.0 -

Sounds like lodger is home a lot so she could try.I have been trying to book online slots, both home delivery and click & collect. absolutely nothing available. I won't ask Miss A to try and book a slot - It is depressing enough for me to try and it would probably send her over the edge if she tried. If push comes to shove, I'll camp out in front of Sainsburys one weekend, get in before the zombie hordes, and then phone for a taxi to get all the loot back home. Cat food, I can always get from the local B&M store which is just a short walk away. If I use a granny trolley, I can get quite a bit in if I leave the boxes behind. Her courage will change the world.
Treasure the moments that you have. Savour them for as long as you can for they will never come back again.0 -

Where I am, there is a new thing with firms delivering food which would normally be sent to local restaurants. I just came across two via a local 'next door' site.0

Cat food is about the only thing I'm really struggling with at the moment. Which of these restaurant food suppliers are delivering cat food and which restaurants order - On second thoughts, I really don't want to know....Contingency plans are in place for the big food shop, but we are coping with being able to pick up a few supplies on the way home from work. Her courage will change the world.

Pet shop chains like Pets Corner or Pets At Home will deliver or do C&C.0

My local FB group (An Anti Loo Roll Brigade) has two people helping with pet food deliveries.
Both have local pet businesses and access to wholesalers, both are also delivering.0 -
It has been nearly six months since the last update. With the help of a few friends, we survived the worst of the lockdown, and now the supermarkets are starting to deliver again, food isn't so much of an issue. It has been a strain in other area though... Miss A's mental health has suffered a little due to being isolated and not having friends round for cups of tea. Had a couple of times when her medications were delayed which hasn't helped matters. Not being able to get out to the shops at the peak of lockdown has meant she has been heavily reliant on me picking up food stuff on my way home from work.Tried my best to keep her spirits up, and it is the little things that can have the biggest effect. Her eyes lit up at the sight of a bottle of bright purple hair dye last weekend. - The best £4 I've spent in a while.. The cats narrowly missed getting the treatment, I didn't.Her courage will change the world.
