  • The felines decided that I needed waking up as usual, what with not having Himself here to do it, so happily took on the responsibility by the Idiot Cat laying beside me and stretching his claws out against my back and Madam Fluffyknickers stomping across my pillow.

Megamug of coffee being slowly consumed and the WM is on. One linen bin is - drum roll - empty! And the other one only has a few lights/whites in it, so will be next.

If the felines decide to release me from the corner of the settee where they have coralled me with fluffiness and purrs, that is - seems like the constant hostilities have been suspended and they're actually laying next to one another - and touching

All yesterday's washing and two more loads outside drying. I think DS is coming back from his induction training today so there will be shirts to wash. I would let him do it himself but he will not use machines during cheap rate hours and will happily use the TD .
Once this lot's dry I will iron but it's not really blowing - very gentle breeze!

And just because the lists aren't there doesn't mean jobs don't need doing:p

I wish I could say that! What I CAN say, however, is that there is no ironing - and not much washing left in the basket. A load is prepped to go in.

Been to town for a free afternoon tea in M&S (thanks to Mater for the voucher) so hit Savers for cheap stuff, and M&S and Co-op for YS. Bough burgers (M&S), mince and sausages (co-op). DD banked her premium Bond cheque.

Took unwanted TV to TVs wanted place *fling*

    Washed out maggotty black bin.

Am thrilled that my secret heart throb is now the manager of the football team I 'support' (ie DS supports them so I take a vague interest, though I have been to see them play. I have their stickers in my car but that was mainly to irritate previous boss who was a Forest fan.;))

Valli, I'm glad you lost the other days as I didn't fancy any of those jobs anyway.

    That made me smile!

I had a lovely day out yesterday with DD, my Best friend and her DH. We even managed to dodge the rain and storms somehow. When we got back DH was in a school boy strop - his fault, he had been invited but chose not to take the day off work. I seem to have managed to pick up a cold from somewhere though.

Off to work now - not sure where my week off disappeared to - maybe the same place as the lists!

Fluttering along here slowley, but at least sorted areas are not getting in a mess so not going backwards is progress for me. I finish the bulk of my work in 2 weeks so will crack on with sorting then.

WM on again and I have a bit of ironing to do so will do that before I go to work, working 12 - 2 so will have an omelette as a late breakfas/early lunch before I go out.

Off to seaside holiday/retirement house for the weekend and we are planning to repair cracks and touch up paintwork but will also enjoy a long walk along the beaches as forecast is good here. The mussels season has just started too so will no doubt enjoy some this weekend, but hopefully will be able to resist the chips!

    Hugs to all

    Morning all

I have just submitted my portfolio so I'm back in the land of the living! So much for my half term holiday!
The bed has been stripped as the dog weed on it last night so that is now on the line but that's about it!

Not sure what I'm doing with the rest of the day but I need to nip out and pick a cool box out so I may mooch around the shops while I'm there as it's over the other side of the city.

The LR looks like a bombsite though so I may get on with that although so does the rest of the house.

    Have a good day all

    Hugs

WM load of Mr LW's clothes done, and he's pegged the stuff on the whirligig to save me having to stretch up to do it. :A Only one pair of socks, though. Since he retired, he's doing the same as me and going barefoot most of the time, only bothering with shoes & socks if we need to go out. :o
