Hello, hello, hello, we're back  and I for one am very relieved indeed!:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j
I knew that you guys were a great support but I didn't realise just how much until I was really 'going it alone' these past few days!!
Sadly, I'd managed to reach my target of 12 stone by Friday last week - I was over the moon! - and yet despite working v hard to keep on the straight and narrow (even without your help) the weight is mysteriously coming back on. I am really perplexed...
Anyway, I am SOO happy to see you all again!Off to catch up on what I've missed, and keeping all my fingers crossed I don't lose you again! (obviously I tempted fate in my first post on here!) xx

Right, caught up - well done to everyone who's had success this week so far, really pleased for you all!:T
KPC, my parcel has arrived, thankyou Delly! I have to confess to having a mare with my own - I arranged for the present to be sent to me first so i could check it, it took ages, then I didn't write the address down and so haven't been able to get to it while the site's been down!! I have been checking every half an hour to see if it was working again, going frantic! I am so sorry for my stupidity, but I have now posted my parcel special delivery so that it will definitely, definitely get there tomorrow! Couldn't let you of all people not get their parcelSo sorry to hear you're still without heating and hot water - I'm with Poohbear though, forget about the housework and wrap up in that duvet. With so many hurdles in the way it's not surprising you're struggling at the mo - just give yourself a break and aim to maintain until you can give it the focus it needs. We will get there KPC, keep smiling! x
Edit: trying to stay with it today myself - got up early to go to a class even though I felt demotivated (still didn't know forum was back up then), only to find that the classes had changed (had tried to check but my internet was down again!). Just munching on a wholemeal pitta filled with chicken (from roast) and loads of lettuce, cucumber and spinach, so I'm clinging on at mo...just!:rolleyes:The 1,000 Day Challenge:Feb 16, 2016500/30,000

I never thought for a minute i would get this low and am really happy although now wondering wheni should switch to maintenance. How have you maintainers out there done it ?? THere are 2 people at work that do it differently...they know how many WW points they are allowed each day and use them on whatever they want so long as they do not go over... I would not be able to do that because I am and was and still continue to be (although now it is just in the mind) a greedy pig and would not be able to stop:D
I have another 2 people that do the 80/20 rule where they are as good as gold during the week and the weekends are theirs to eat whatever they fancy and on it goes...
I find it easier and less problematic for me to restrain, not buy it, not have it in, not eat, just think about it only:rotfl: :rotfl:
I have another friend that eats the first day of the month, pay day as in a take away, a treat, whatever and then the rest of the time is happy with that once and eats normal, healthy foods....
There are so many variations of it, other people guilt free enjoy their treats or dinners out and the next day and maybe a few more depending on how much was eaten and drunk cut right back to counter balance it, mine is restraint:rotfl:0 -
Katie pc - I can't believe you still have no heating. What we need is a few less kids doing 'media studies' and a few more learning a proper trade!!! (ooh makes me sound old...)
I'm not suprised you are struggling. Nothing else useful to offer, other than oodles of sympathy as I feel fairly frazzled myself: just had a ghastly day at work with this client ringing up and abusing me for something I had said to her (very politely and at the the request of my employer) on Friday. And because I knew she's 'got issues' I felt I had to take it but it wasn't very nice and I couldn't stop crying for an hour after, (and that was embarrassing) so feel knackered. Then I went for a physio session as I have had a back problem these last 2 weeks and the pain has left me not getting enough sleep and physio reckons it's because of losing weight!! Apparantly she gets quite a lot of clients who lose weight then get a back problem because the extra fat used to support them - take it away and your back has no strength:rolleyes: . So know got some strengthening exercises to do.
So feeling a weebly bb at the mo. All hugs gratefully received
bbI try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0 -
Thank goodness we're back! Away for a few days and what happens? You all go off somewhere and leave me.
I was completely PANICKED.
[STRIKE]Egypt[/STRIKE] I mean Italy was great. Ice cream, rich sauces, wine .... you name it, I ate it. Also walked and walked and walked looking at galleries, musuems, churches, pallazzos (sp?).
Obviously didn't walk enough though because when I got back I'd put on 7lbs  Most of it has come off now ... official weigh in tomorrow.
Hello Suggs, yes I use tripadvisor too and I think it's brilliant. I'll be writing a review for my hotel too. Are you Suggs on tripadvisor? I'm still grannynise -- no imagination you see. I used it to choose the best (value) restaurants. Maybe they could have a new section for "good but low fat meals".
I have my box already to unpack tomorrow morning. Thank you to whoever it was ... when can we do it again?0
