  • well done to all of you losers!
Petrichor - I can only dream of ever being a size 8, I was probably 8 yrs old when I last was! congrats.
I have maintained this week and am a little gutted, then had a large drink of wine last night and a takeaway today, gulp! Now straight back on tomorrow. Cant undo the good work now can I?
    Take care all xx

Victory, Petrichor and Beanielou - my meal out was yummy. Not a single point was counted and I don't care! OH and I enjoyed a couple of drinks (no starters) he had steak and I had beef fajitas (sp). Profiteroles & pavlova for dessert but too much cream to count the points :rotfl: :rotfl:

After all this talk about kittens, I'm glad I had my meal before I logged on. unfortunately I have an adverse reaction to kittens :p - I don't like them but they seem to love me:confused: . It has something to do with a kitten climbing up my cardi when I was about 5. It totally freaked me out and I've ended up being a puppy person ever since - something to do with my P1 teacher's pup trying to eat my ringlets and getting so over excited he peed on the floor. Those memories never leave you!

Feeling slightly better. There's nothing I can do about my work, the changes have to be made and I have to accept it. As for my stuffy nose etc. I'm just about to clean off my slap and change into my PJ's with 2 benylin cold & flu and maybe a hot toddy.

Have a great night/weekend everyone whatever you're doing.

Now as I'm a very keen cook (ha ha) I've been trying out some of these kitten recipes. The thing I'm not clear on is, should I defuzz the kitten first? It is obviously easier to make the chocolate and honey stick on if I leave the fur, but the mouth experience isn't pleasant.

    Hi Peeps
giving it a buzz cut, especially if it's a particularly fluffy variety, I think that should work :D .

The kitten is currently on the stove simmering in chocolate and crunchie bits, we decided to keep the fur and employ BB's licking technique. I think the tail should stiffen up nicely and can then be used as a stick - kitten lollipop anyone? :D

Delly, glad you enjoyed your meal and are slowly getting used to the idea of work changes, not easy. How's the cold?

    Bargain babe
, hope you're back on the straight and narrow today, good luck with Day 1.

KPC, it's Boiler Day!! Hope it all gets fixed up and you can resist the bacon butties.

Have a great weekend all. I'm meeting my family in a couple of hours and am keeping my fingers crossed for an engagement announcement from my brother and his girlfriend (although I have been doing this for a couple of years now and no joy!:D) xx

7yobd3m.gifSuggs - we're slowly bringing you down into the gutter.

bails - the cold isn't too bad as long as I keep on top of the lemsips - just one of the side effects of having a house full of children this day last week, one of them was bound to be ill and pass it on to everyone else. Oh well, at least I'm off work for another week and can recover in my own time.

    Gosh it's quiet on here!

Well, the good news is that I was finally right - my brother got engaged!!:j:T:j So we've had champagne but I had a jacket with prawns so kept it together apart from that.

The wedding's probably around next New Year so got a while to look gorgeous :D

Off for a sleep before more celebrations later x
