Check out the hotties in here! Give paris hilton a run for her money
I will post a photo at some point. I'll try and get a before when i was big and then a now picture. Quite ironic really that im loosing weight at a "now" stage.
Ive had an awful day at work. blimming 8-6. Rushed off my feet. Didnt do many fittings today, but i guess people are more interested in shopping for other people then themselves. Im so tired, i got home and starting falling asleep on my boyfriends shoulder at 7Old before my time!
anyway, have a good weekend, im looking forward to a rare day with my boyfriend tomorrow. Shopping and out for a meal. (we havent been out together properly since our 2 year anniversary in october) How bad is that!0 -
Hi all not managed to get to the pc since Wednesday which is very unusual for me!
Nan is on the mend as far as she can be, and has begun to weight bear on her leg and now we're just looking at options for her to move closer to one of her daughters so she can still keep some independence.
Well done all of you who have posted pics I have one of me in May when I was near my heaviest but haven't had any taken recently so will endeavour to get one taken probably on Friday at my next Xmas do.
Had my Rosemary Conley Christmas party Friday night which was people from at least 8 different classes and not a bloke among us! I had to snigger at one point as the buffet was opened there seemed to be a stampede!!!
I sat back with my friend and waited as I can't see the point in queuing for ages to achieve the same result and one of the instructors came up and told us off telling us to get up and get food as it all had to go!!:rotfl:
Much to my surprise I was also named as slimmer of the year!! think I started going red as soon as they mentioned my join date:o As you all know I have lost 3st 1lb what I hadn't worked out was it's only taken 18 weeks. Our class also took second place with another lady having lost 2st 11lb.
Anyway i now have a gorgeous floral display in my living room , a certificate and a bottle of bubbly for when I'm feeling decadent:DWeight loss since 01/08/07 - 72 lbs:j0 -

Well done julesgr - a great achievement.
Well done everyone for posting pictures. Keep them coming...0 -
even if we don't like what we see now, think how chuffed we'll be when we have photos like Efrieze's :j
Blimey bails, weight loss I can manage, complete miracles I can't! Think I needed a better lucky dip of the gene pool to hope for that one :rotfl:
Julesgr: that is fantastic. Are you near goal yet? Glad to hear your nan is recovering - very good news, though a time of upheaval and change for you all to come.
Good to hear from you serendisclare- you've been a bit quiet (I think?) recently. Hope you're ok? What makes you think purple is my fav colour? :rotfl: (I do own clothes in other colours, except black, but was going for the comfort zone)
Delly, thanks for the advice about yoga. The back's beginning to frighten me a bit now - my neck has also now become so painul and my right knee's going awol. I see a GP tomorrow and hope for some advice. Have rung and left message for an oesteopath too. I feel I need medical guidance first as to what is safe (like I had assumed swimming would be but have no had 2 people say can make it worse, so going for advice first.) When even a quick game of scrabble becomes difficult...:(
bbI try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0 -
Morning all:D off shopping in this weather:eek: well I would be if H was not surgically stuck to the bed:rotfl: :rotfl: DS is excited because he has been promised if he is good he can have Macdonalds:D yuck food if you ask me but he likes it, we are having a salmon stir fry this evening so looking forward to that, H loves them and trying to get the kids into it but no luck so far,
Have a great day everyone, keep the photos coming, you all look fab x0 -
Morning all , I've got to go shopping as well this morning or we'll be living off cuppa soups and tomatoes!!
BB I didn't set myself a final goal when I began my weight loss but I did say I wanted to lose at least 5 stone with the aim to lose 2 by Christmas I soon realised that I could lose more than 2 so set the goal at 3 which I have achieved.
When I started out I had a BMI of 46.2 and have now got it down to 39.2 which is stll scary but heading in the right direction. If I go by the standard weight charts I needed to lose almost half my body wieght to get to the "normal" weight. This means a weight loss of 10stone!!!! My doctor however says that due to my frame etc it may be more realistic to look at 8stone so I'm taking it a day at a time to see where I get to. I am currently lighter and smaller than I have been for 5 years so am pleased with my progress.
Got to go ...Shopping beckonsWeight loss since 01/08/07 - 72 lbs:j0 -

yeah the dragon
. Loverly to meet you. I did not need a sick bag:D . You've got a warm friendly face, super eyes and you have a lovely hour glass curve between waist and hips which I never had... and a great stack of beer and ryvita :rotfl: . Keep taking a photo every time you lose half a stone or so and you'll feel so encouraged.
Well done julesgr - what a great start you've made. Athough you've plenty to go you must believe in yourself that you can do it with your current progressI try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0 -
Morning you lovely lot! Congratulations julesgr on your brilliant achievement!
Hope you all have a great day, I don't have time to post properly (phew, I hear you sigh!)
