yeah the dragon yay.gif. Loverly to meet you. I did not need a sick bag:D . You've got a warm friendly face, super eyes and you have a lovely hour glass curve between waist and hips which I never had... and a great stack of beer and ryvita :rotfl: . Keep taking a photo every time you lose half a stone or so and you'll feel so encouraged.

Well done julesgr - what a great start you've made. Athough you've plenty to go you must believe in yourself that you can do it with your current progress

The beer is DH's the ryvitas are mine LOL - major mutterings at the moment as I have had to take pain killers again this week and the weight has gone UP again

Morning you lovely lot! Congratulations julesgr on your brilliant achievement!

Hope you all have a great day, I don't have time to post properly (phew, I hear you sigh!)

Dragon what a fab pic, not only do we get to see what you look like but we get to have a nose at the stuff in your house ;) (if it is your house!) :D

Actually that was the rental flat we just moved out of - I do have pics of the new house - but only when every room was filled with boxes LOL

Oh and thanks folks for your nice comments! I think I look like nothing on earth - but then again I remember myself being slim and fit before the RTA

dragon - thanks for posting the picture. I have to say you look Brilliant! and look nowhere near what your sig says you weigh. As was said before, you have a lovely hourglass figure and really friendly face. I'm sorry to hear that you've not been feeling well. It's difficult at the best of times isn't it?

Hope your pain killers are working well and that you're feeling better soon. Don't worry about your weight going up again. As long as the trend is slowly downwards I think you'll be alright. It's difficult, but keep on going.
Goal for 09: Get fit and foxy. target weight 11st. 5/80.
Get out of dead end job and work for career I always wanted.

Thanks Delly - I think that has been part of the problem - I don't LOOK that overweight! and when I was slim most of it was muscle so I was toned but chunkyish!

Even though I was below 9 stone in weight (seriously underweight!) I was still a size 12/14 currently a size 24/26 (lower half) and size 16/18 (upper half) *sigh*

Afternoon girls! (where are the boys?)

Julesgr, what a fantastic achievement, I hope you are over the moon with yourself! :T You seem very positive about your weight loss goal which is brilliant, just keep thinking of it in small chunks and it will disappear. Gald to hear about your nan too.

The Dragon, I am completely bowled over by your photo! I agree with the others, you have a lovely hourglass figure and warm face. And as for the clothes sizes you're currently in and the weight in your sig, I simply can't believe it!! It just goes to show how very differently we are all made up. How long ago was your RTA? I'm guessing it was pretty serious, hope you are recovering as well as can be expected. Try not to worry about the effect of the drugs on your weight (easier said than done I know) and remember that they are to help you get well/not be in pain, which is the most important thing. Thank you for sharing your photo x

Vix, looking forward to your photo too now! Enjoy your day together (my boyfriend and I got together 2 years ago in October too).

BB, what do you mean, when I lose all this weight I won't magically turn into the gorgeous Efrieze? I've been duped!

Thanks Bails - RTA was about 13 years ago and I ended up rather mashed about - the worst being a shattered right ankle and a broken breast bone - every so often (too flipping often as well!) the pain goes from seriously excrutiating to "aaaargh kill me now"!!!! and when that happens I am back on the medication which made me put on 14 stone (more than my original body weight!) in less than 12 months. They are the only tablets/treatment that comes close to touching the pain though *sigh*

    Ooouucchh!

Dragon, that sounds erally awful and my heart goes out to you. Hope you are feeling much better soon - are there no other drugs they can offer you to help?

On another note altogether, my computer is now dying big time and it has taken almost 3 days of thumping it to get it to speak to me at all this time so my time online is obviously limited. I have printed my secret santa 'victim' in case I can't look them up after today but can anyone tell me how secret this is meant to be? Am I meant to let on who I am or not?

Regrettably not! These are the only ones that seem to touch it - everything else they have tried have not touched the pain (in some cases they made it worse ) - so I just need to sigh and mutter about still being an Orca!

Bother that! does this mean you will need to pay out for a new computer soon?

  • Hi, I have to lose weight as I am now really fed up with myself.
I can't go to slimming club as a) I can't really afford £5.50 each week and b) I can't drag my 3 kids there with me, I would have to weigh in only so wouldn't get the benefit of my membership.

Anyway back to my question. I want to do the Weight Watchers points plan as I find it easiest to do but I don't know how many points I should be having on a daily basis.

    I am 5' 3" and weigh 13st 1lb
I don't do any exercise - so no bonus points for me!!!

Can anyone tell me how many points I should have each day.

    Thank you in advance

    LM
