Brighton belle ..... is that really just the result of a 22lb loss? You look SO dramatically different in the second photo. Fantastic, well done.

Hi granny, no, it's 28lbs. I've lost 24lb since 8th May and I was my heaviest ever at the time of photo one taken the year before, just 4lbs more than when I started SW in May this year. Thanks a lot. It's been really worthwhile this exercise actually, coz when I first saw photo 2 this afternoon I wasn't too chuffed, but then when I saw photo one suddenly I really liked todays! Definitely take some photos of your selves guys if you still have a lot to lose - you don't have to look at them now but they'll really cheer you up later!

And yes it is so lovely to see you all.
    xx

    Hi all,

Haven't been on for a few days. The new HR Manager at work has decided to "restructure" the company and I have been moved from working in a room with just my boss into a room that is smaller than my old one to share with three other people (think sardines). The problem is - where my seat is my "new" boss can see over my shoulder so I can't have a fly peek on MSE. the annoying thing is she spends all lunch hour talking to us about everything from the price of beans to world domination!!! and I don't want to appear ignorant by trying to log on which means I am missing this thread badly.

I know it is a bit late now, but congratulations again to everyone that lost this week (or sts) and hugs to anyone who put on. I can't believe I am joint slimmer of the week especially after the feeding session I had last week!!! I just hope it doesn't catch up this week.

We had our Work Christmas Party yesterday and once again I had a little more indulging than I had hoped to but I have been really good all week so hopefully it won't show on the scales come Monday.

I have tried to catch up so hopefully I won't miss anything out. Apologies if I have.

Hi all - The 40A bra came from M&S I had a choice of 3 the one I chose was a pretty lacy multi way one that I could wear with anything & was £14 this size on the internet was about £36. This was the only shop in the whole city that had that size. God help me if i was looking for the size I was month ago a 42A cos they didn't have any of those.

I have a similar problem to you Emmalis except I am at the other end of the scale!!! I am a 40HH (Horribly Humungus) and can only buy mine from Bravissimo. Like you I was 42 a few months ago and that was even worse - only a choice of one [strike]hammock[/strike] bra. If you ever need a boob transplant - I would be only to willing to help.

Unfortunately as I am losing weight I seem to be losing some of the inches but unfortunately the mountains ain't getting any smaller!!! At this rate I will end up toppling over.

Thanks again Brighton Belle for doing the Secret Santa - you are going to help make a lot of people happy. I am happy with Christmas Eve too.

Welcome Froggy_girl128 good to have you back.
Bails - great incentive losing the inches. Unfortunately I didn't have a big enough measuring tape when I started. No - seriously I didn't actually think to measure myself but I do know I am losing inches though - I can tell becaue I am constantly yanking my trousers up to hide my builders bum!!! It's juse as well I bought new ones and it make me feel quite good when I can buy cheap trousers for work out of Asda now - the biggest size my local one done was a 20 and they fit now sport-smiley-001.gif. Oh and I agree with everyone else - you do look great in your before photo. I wouldn't mind my "after" photos to show me with a figure like that.

There's no way you'd get me into a bikini, it's not so much the shape of my body I'm worried about but the whiteness of my skin! I don't think I can summon up the courage to put a pic of me on here

There's now way you would get me in a bikini either - and no it is not the whiteness of my skin I would be worried about - it would be the bruised knees from my big boobs without their wired supports!!!

Grannynise - I hope your cold is a wee bit better today - make yourself a Hot Toddy and pop off to bed if it isn't. I wish that was what I was doing. I am sitting here looking out the window at the howling rain and sleety snow outside wishing I didn't have to go out tonight but unfortunately I do. Friends of my husband are having a wee Christmas Party in a hall and have invited us over but it is also OH's birthday so I have made him a suprise birthday cake which they are going to give to him too so as you see - might look a bit bad if I don't turn up.

Vixarooni - It is great when you find a hairdresser you like and I know what you mean about feeling a million dollars when you come out.

Delly - thats a great photo - you look are really happy cheery person.

Wow - efrieze - the difference in you is amazing - well done

gavel.gif Ahem... silence in court. The case for the prosecution:
    deep fried brie starter
    lamb shanks main
    banoffee pie pud

And the case for the defence m'lud?

er.... I had a 'diet' coke :rotfl:

I throw myself at your mercy with regards to my sentance.
    (But I had a fab night out:D )

    bb

You had a fab night out and that is what matters. I don't think calorie counting should be allowed on nights out biggrin.gif

Grannynise - now I know how you got your name. I don't know if you are a granny or not but you look lovely so hence the "nise" bit - never was good at spelling!!!

Pet - your photo looks great too - even the wine glass!!!!

Aw Beanie - you look beautiful in that dress.

Belle - your transformation is amazing too.

Unfortunately I always hide from cameras as I hate seeing myself in the photgraphs so haven't actually got any myself. However, when I was at a night out with my friend during the summer there was a photographer taking photos of us at the table. This was when I was at my heaviest and I was so embarassed I told her to keep it. I'll get it off of her tomorrow and post it (if I feel brave enoughspeechless-smiley-040.gif)

Anyway, better go - need to go and get my eskimo suit on to brave the horrible weather outside.

    Speak to you all soon.

Edit: Oops - sorry - I didn't realise my post was quite to long. Hope nobody falls asleep half way through!!!!!

Wow - brighton belle your pics are amazing - I have to say that your weightloss so far has taken YEARS off you. Glad you had a good night out but I'm sorry to hear that you're back still isn't much better. I have to say, I can't recommend yoga highly enough for helping back pain. It can be expensive but even a 12 week course with a qualified yoga therapist who can adjust the postures to suit your condition can make a HUGE difference to your pain and improve your core strength.

grannynise, petrichor, beanielou, it's really lovely to meet all you guys too, although I have to say, you look nothing like I imagined you all would (do you all feel the same?

missyg my little boy was 2 last October. He's started talking about a baby brother but I think he might have to wait for another while longer.

Thank you for the latest pictures! It's great to see what you look like and I'm feeling suitably guilty for not posting one now, because those of you who have done are being so brave! I love to see smiling, happy faces. A nice smile is the first thing I notice in a picture.

My new body analyser has arrived and I've had fun with that, checking out all my numbers! Does anyone know if there is a chart somewhere so I can interpret my "muscle mass"? Haven't been able to find one and the figure seems high - 50% higher than my body fat! Or maybe that's low, I don't know!

Got my new digital kitchen scales too so I can weigh things with accuracy now. Wow, 50 calories worth of raisins is a lot fewer raisins than I thought! Hehe :D

    Have a good evening everyone.

Woo hoo, all my friends are coming out to play! It is so lovely to 'meet' you all! I agree Delly, people don't look as I imagined, although I couldn't describe what I imagined so it's silly really! I am so, so pleased that we are doing this, I think you're right BB, it will have a positive effect on all of us - even if we don't like what we see now, think how chuffed we'll be when we have photos like Efrieze's :j

Petrichor, I am so glad you have posted a pic and with a wine glass too, how ironic! You look lovely. BB, the before and after is staggering, and the best bit is that it's still your inbetween photo!! How amazing are you going to look when you reach goal! You do look completely different already, and I agree, much younger too :T Lovin' the purple, of course (note to self - buy purple outfit for 'after' photo).
Beanielou, of course I checked out your photos, and lovely you look as well! I love some of the photos on there, is that a friend of yours' website?

Anic and others, I'd love to see your photos if you feel able to (and the rest of yours Pet if you want to).
I'll tell you what, the world had better watch out when we're all at target; we're going to be GORGEOUS!! xxxx
