My DD1 and her BF got it over Christmas, myself and OH managed to steer clear.  I thought you had to isolate 7 days as long as the test came back clear on 7th day

It will be some miracle of myself , mum and NM all avoid it
mums at the most risk , followed by me then NM due to the amount of contact ,  I’m behaving around mum as if I am positive as we never know when that line could change or whether or not I am infectious at this moment just now showing symptons and vice versa for her.
mums really quite chill about it , I’m not.
im the sort of person who hears someone cough and reaches for the LFT box
I’ve had all the windows open all day today and wiped all surfaces down and worked in a different bedroom to mine as my sis used mine last night
sister did send a pcr test off yesterday so it will be interesting to see what that says , I sent one off today and will probably drain a lot of resources over the next few days testing …….. but if boris and his chumps can have bring your own booze parties I don’t really care
  • It’s all change at home
I’ve returned negative LTF and Pcr tests , mum negative ltf and I will pcr her tomorrow.
Our care has all changed , almost over night mum cannot walk with her frame. She managed a few steps with 2 carers and her frame but she’s pretty bed bound
we now have 2 carers call four times a day , happened basically overnight but so needed.
Mums eating very little and sleeping so much but my juggle has become so much easier because I’m not so worried about her falling etc or going on a wander
i am concerned however that things are really changing , I’ve told my sister if things change drastically during her isolation she just comes anyway as if mum is going to pass does it really matter ???
Anyway trying not to dwell on it.

Not much to report money wise , one thing about not being able to go anywhere really you can’t really spend it either

I hope you and your mum manage to avoid Covid and that you are coping ok with your mums care. Good that you seem to have more carers support and this final stage of your mums illness is as peaceful as possible.
