May I gently suggest that you jolly well start taking them again, to help you get on a more even keel with stuff...Yes, I think that you should pop back on the medication for a wee while to help you get back onto an even keel, just while things are so tough
You're right ladies - I had stopped taking my medication because I was feeling so much better. Unfortunately I'm not now so I'd best just get back onto them and stop moaning. My doctor was as keen as I was that I wasn't medicated any longer than necessary, but seems as though my ex is still playing a big part in my life even though I don't want him to. I've heard from my solicitor with the next court date (early September), so have chased Dog up, but I suspect we're going to get pushed back again and this will be a waste of time and £1600.
On a more positive note the GCSE results are an improvement on last year. Significantly so in chemistry (my subject) - I've finally overtaken physics but still not quite matching biology. All but 1 child got a 4 or better, and 40% of them got a 7 or better so I'm proud of how well they've done. And the child that got a 3 has missed over a year of school due to illness so we couldn't expect much more than that. Progress measures have improved massively so the school should be happy too. Still wading my way through the combined science but we're a few % up on last year so fingers crossed.
I am completely shattered now though - awake again for much of the night, but not my fault this time - ds was awake with what I suspect are growing pains in his legs. Still not catching a massive amount of luck but just trying to ignore how tired and skint I am.
We went to P1zza Hut after results as the treat (demanded by the kids) so I'm fed and watered. Just trying to keep busy - I've been asked to mark an exam paper urgently (it must be urgent as it's results day) so I'd best get on with that. Then more crochet and telly I think. Not giving up

Well done, CCL. I have enormous admiration for teachers. You do such a difficult job these days with so much pressure.
I'd agree that you should resume your medications. Why are Exs so unreasonable. I know mine was although we're civil to one another now and , if I'm honest, I do still worry about hims slightly and would hate anything bad to happen to him. It seems to be a recurring theme on the boards.
Mark the paper and have a large glass on wine (if you don't have any alcohol have a cuppa) and relax.Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.0 -
I'd be sad too.

Hi I followed your instructions to the letter but maybe the layout on my pc is different. I cant click on quick links or subscribed threads.
There is no column next to the subscribed threads where I can change the frequency so consequently I`m only getting CCL`s posts when I go in the diaries.
I can see CCL`s name in the subscribed diaries and I can subscribe/unsubscribe but nowt much else.....0 -

I don't know how Facebook works but is it possible to screenshot the ex's posts to prove to your solicitor that he is able to post things, so presumably has internet access. Can any documents be sent via email with a receipt option that lets you know when he has opened it?
A new sofa sounds a good idea. I will be glad when I can afford to do likewise:cool:. Hope that your DS and the ginger kitty are on the mend.
Hi CCL...just to say I have replaced two sofas too and after trying to donate the older ones without success donated a chair and sofa to Debra..local charity.
Mine are new to me from Ebay and in good nick. Sounds like you got a bargain with yours. I bought a large Lynden sofa Laura Ashley which was £400 and the other one was a snuggler for £285.
You did better as I had to arrange for a courier....!0 -

Good news on the results, CCL. My nephew was delighted with his chemistry result.... he thought he'd mucked it up & was worried as he wants very much to do A-level chemistry, but he got a 7, so he was made up!
