That was a long morning at work. The To Do list looks longer than when I went in, so I'm trying not to stress about it.

I've just made a sandwich, then it's off to clean the bathroom. I'm hoping that I might get into the garden later, even though it is still deceptively cold out there.

Good luck vibes to your DH, Dizzy.

Kaz, yes the plug and fuse are ok. This one is actually a fridge freezer and the fridge is ok. The freezer was making a strange noise earlier. Anyway, the burger is still not frozen so I think we will have to replace the whole thing. We have had it ten years though which does not seem too bad for a modern appliance.

Earlier, I cleaned the surfaces in the hobby room and office and swept and mopped all the hard floors and took the dogs for a second walk.

Jazee.. is it a frost free freezer? If so.. they get a build up of ice on the innards.. if you turn it off for 24 hours and turn it back on it might have defrosted enough for it to start working (says the moron who had a 'dead' freezer and had to buy a new one)

The bathroom did get a clean, and I did get into the garden. A bucket full of dandelions from the so-called lawn have been dug up. Recycling sorted, bird seed and other outdoor bits that have been waiting for a dry moment have now been put into their rightful places.
After dinner, DH agreed to go for a walk with me - I can't remember the last time he did that. He was slow, but it was a start. He doesn't realise that this is practice for getting a dog one day! I'm not going to tell him either.

    Morning all.

Piggers, not a frost free one although that is what I have ordered now as it is definitely dead. Why do these things happen when I have gone part time? Budget will need adjusting again.

Just the dailies so far today here.

    Have a great day everyone.

Hi all, I am sorry that I have been gone for so long but I've been really unwell - had a relapse I'm afraid and the GP has put me back on Mirtazapine which puts me in a bit of a haze! Now starting to come back out of the fog again now.

Was genuinely about to start housework but just got another typing job come in; will have to get that done first!

If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)
  • Dammit. Was very happy to have a dental appointment during work hours today, skipped merrily off down the road away from the Offspring of the Parish, confident that I'd be there for ten minutes and sent away with a 'see you in x months'.

Nah. I need my first ever filling, below the gumline so I had no idea there was a problem. And there's another one that might be an issue but the x-ray wasn't too clear, so I've had to book next Friday off for extensive work on the other side to the one hurting four months ago. It wasn't visible to the dentist four months ago and she reckon's it's because of the active inflammation having made it possible for something to have got in and started trashing the tooth whilst my general hygiene was still perfectly acceptable. She's being very nice and providing a fancy resin rather than mercury filling, as well as a full private hygiene scrub up for free whilst I'm already numbed, but....mehhhhhhhhh.

Himself has sort of tidied the bathroom. Well, he put the mirror in the bath with all the various lotions and potions whilst the man came to measure up the cracked window and then moved it all back out again. I think I might go and have a bath now. Because it's hot, I'm miffed at the prospect of my first ever filling and I'm not at work when I would usually be - so I'm going to use my new posh stuff and languish until Himself sorts out dinner.
I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.
