I need to fly for the next 3 days. Just had a 4 day weekend, 2 days in UK for a wedding, great to see everyone but hugely tiring and then 2 days at home, Monday was spent relaxing and a bit of shopping and then yesterday was more productive around the house and garden. I have a leat 20 loads of washing to do, DD2 home from uni with 4 weeks worth and DD1 also home so I have done 5 loads and all ironed.
Main priorities are washing and more washing and preparing some food I can leave for DD1 as we go on away on Saturday for the week but she is staying at home for a few days before she goes back to her own flat for the rest of the week. Also have a couple of appointments with DD2 so we will be running around a fair bit.
WM is back on already this morning and last nights load has been ironed
Going to meal plan with another coffee

    Hugs to all
    xx

Morning girls - raining again here. When will it ever end?

Flew like a demon yesterday and hoovered the entire ground floor. Poor thing nearly caught fire :rotfl:

Today it is the first floor and this evening it is moving an oak bed frame into DSS's room, together with chest of drawers and two bedside cupboards, ready for my sister and her family this weekend.

However, I have three additional children to dinner after school today, one of whom is the fussiest eater, like EVER, so wish me luck. Shepherd's pie and veggies with HM vanilla cheesecake for pudding. She didn't like my tomato and basil sauce last time she came over and made sure I knew!

DH in the bath, so dry shampoo it is today...

    Morning all,

Yep, it's raining. The only plus side was that the car park in small town was empty as I pulled through to go to the market f&v. My fishman obviously decided that it was one rainy day too much and wasn't there. Back home for an hour before I have to go to big town for an enjoyable mammogram. I'm having a restorative cup of coffee before I decide what I can [STRIKE]get away with[/STRIKE] productively do whilst clock watching. WM on, I suppose I ought to unearth the vacuum cleaner.

ATB - have a hug. Hope the flinging is good for the soul as well as the bank balance. X

    Morning

Water board have been it seems, well he 'thinks' I don't have a leak, so why is my block paving lifting and water coming out, he didn't have an answer except 'your meter is not moving' so its not your water.....................I can see this going on for some time.
He has suggested, to lift some of the block paving and see what is underneath...........it is currently chucking it down with rain...........so I'll give it a miss for now.

HB I cut my lavendar back to about 8 inches tall, it was very woody and overgrown.

    All ironing is done
    Other general stuff done
Off to faff about in my dining room and remove junk / items of interest for ebay

Shopping list written, meal plan sort of cobbled together.
    Bedroom vacuumed, ensuite cleaned.
DD's bedding changed as it was a novelty to see her bed without her in it or on it.
WM just finishing, so I will hang that up inside then off to hospital, followed by petrol and food shop.

    See you later.

ETA - Thanks, Kaz. I have inherited 4 lavenders form DFiL's garden, which are in various states, so I will try the hard cut option.

Hello all. Hope you're all ok.

Raining here, so the dogs haven't had a walk yet and I only did the dailies before the paid stuff. Have had to wait in anyway for a delivery and have used the time to clear down emails and phone phone providers, so all good fun.

About to have lunch, then I hope to do some of the list before paid stuff again.

    Rain has stopped
Been doing some weeding as they seem to pull up easier when the ground is wet.
Considering painting the bedroom (whole room) and kitchen ceiling as that seems to be flaking off.

Dogs walked, rubbish/recycling/composting put out, dishes washed again (there are now more courtesy of DH) and I've S&S'd the bathroom and kitchen.

Hospital done, grocery shopping done and put away, car filled with petrol. Chomping a quick piece of bread as out again shortly to collect DD and take her volunteering, then home, then back out for me to volunteer. I so love a relaxing day off! But I think *whispers* that it might have stopped raining.

ETA - completely a false alarm - it is now torrential.

I have finished cleaning all through the house, and everything (apart from the inevitable piles of paper on the bed in the study bedroom) is tidy :)

DH is due back this evening. I don't think the tidiness will last long!

Rosie wants a walk, but my energy levels have plummeted.
