  • Lovely weather here [/sarcasm]. But the sun is out now.

Did my Angry Mum impression on quite a few kids today. It seems to be rather effective, possibly because it only happens infrequently and is generally saved for outstanding examples of stupidity, intentional damage or (the most dramatic version) meanness to others.

Absolutely staarving again. Today's [strike]lunch[/strike] cherry tomatoes, a quarter of a celery stick and some leaves lasted until 11am, which is longer than usual. Himself has already been despatched to the shops to forage the ingredients for a pasta bake. I do hope he doesn't think it can wait until 9pm.

DH is due back this evening. I don't think the tidiness will last long!
He's back. It didn't. I now have WMx2 to do.

Tomorrow I'm catching an early train cross-country to go and visit my friend in Lincolnshire for a few hours. Packed breakfast is ready (so is DH's) and books sorted to go in my bag. I am hoping to take Rosie out for a quick walk at 06:30.
  • I've just put in a two hundred quid order for groceries. OK, it included two sacks of compost for my seedlings, enough cat paraphernalia to keep Battersea mogs in the lap of luxury for months, an absolute ton of makeup, toiletries and hairdye because I am in desperate need of a spruce up since I've been on the meds and a big bottle of Plymmy gin (because I'm worth it) - vitamins and some food we can't get round the corner, but £200?

To my amazement, I got in before the cutoff point, so it's being delivered tonight (Thursday) and not Friday - and for free. But that'll mean quite a long stint of putting stuff away.

I will, however, be threatening Himself with ultraviolence if that bottle gets touched even once whilst I'm at work or asleep. That is for one drink a night maximum. Standard pub single measures, too - not his slosh it in a highball and squeeze the tiniest amount of mixer on top of the ice cubes measures. He is being remarkably sensible with alcohol consumption now, but I've not had brought any spirits into the house since his stupidity got him into A&E for the night.

Anyhow, I must go to sleep. It's late and I don't need another morning like the last one, where it took all my mental energy to drag myself out of bed, never mind getting dressed and to work.

    Night, all.

    Morning.
Guess what?? Wm loaded, ironing done, packed lunches packed, kitchen tidied, off to work shortly...you are probably getting as bored hearing this as I am doing it :(. Maybe I'll try to find something original to report this afternoon, but don't hold your breath.

Ooohhh - here is my original thought - the sun is actually shining :T

    Good morning lovelies!

Just waved DH off to his new job, which is very exciting. He already knows all the lads at this branch, so he's not too nervous. Good luck vibes needed please :D

Hope you have a lovely day out in Lincolnshire Iona - enjoy time with your friend.

Flying today consists of sorting out DSS's room, ready for my sister and making a start on the pit which is/was the playroom.

    Feeling like Tigger this morning...bounce...bounce...bounce..

Dizzy I am in Tigger Mode too! Good luck to you DH xx

My feet have barely touched the ground this morning. Two loads of washing on the line, DW unloaded, reloaded, unloaded...., woodburner cleaned, dog walked, poo-picked, couple of phone calls made, invoices done for DH, kiddies taken to school etc...

Brew time now! My kitchen sides are completely clear , long may it stay that way! I am just waiting in now for Autoglass to repair my windscreen (stupid stone chip) then I am going out to buy myself some flowers because I can . :T

Hello all. Enjoy your flowers ATB.

Only the dailies done here before the paid stuff including a dog walk as it's such a lovely day.

I think one of my freezers may have died. Have left a burger in there to check, but have thrown lots of food out and am cooking some to save waste. So, change of menu plans here for the next couple of days.

Just about to have lunch and will then look at the list before more paid stuff.
Spend less now, work less later.
