That sounds like quite the adventure, especially for a football match! :j
Budgeting in advance makes such a difference though, doesn't it? I remember always getting ourselves into slight panic moments just before / after holidays, thinking about how on earth we'll pay for it all. It always worked out, but I can do without the stress.Original mortgage: December 2017, £203,495

Hey Julicorn,
I've just caught up on you dairy and oh my, you have done so well with the mortgage balance! You've manage to pay off in the space of a year or so, what took me 5 years to pay off on my place - massive congrats!!!
Also woot woot for Japan. I went to Disneyland whilst I was out there and it was quite a odd experience seeing a Japanese Mary Poppins. I think DisneySea is more aimed at adults isn't it? My Japanese friends always seem to have a blast when they go thereMFW Start:[STRIKE] Sep 2014 - £110,844[/STRIKE], July 2019 New Home £190,995

Thank you for stopping by Runders, and for the congratulations as well! :heart2: It's really motivating to see other people's progress on here, we definitely wouldn't have been able to pay off this much without this forum.
Yes, I've heard DisneySea is a bit more aimed at adults as well. Although we're not exactly in it for the wild ride (we both get terrified even with very basic rollercoasters :rotfl: ), I've heard they've got some really cool, more story-focused things there as well. I can't wait, it's going to be so much fun.
It was Mr Julicorn and my wedding anniversary on Friday (5 years, yay!), but we haven't really been able to spend much time with just the two of us just yet. On Friday, we went out for leaving drinks for one of my colleagues, and yesterday, went to visit another friend/colleague in Eastbourne. But today we're watching Toy Story 4 at the cinema, so hopefully that will be more of a date day than the last 2.
Hope you all have a lovely weekend!Original mortgage: December 2017, £203,495
