Hello,
Please can I join! I've been AWOL for a long time, and actually forgot my login info and had to start a new username last time I came on here.
I'll post later (after the school run) of my hopes/motivation/goals etc.
I earned more money last year than I ever have, but haven't got anything to show for it because I've become lazy when it comes to shopping and food and nsd's are rare to say the least!
Today is NSD #2. :jI suspect I will go shopping Friday but I don't need very much.
I have aquired a £5 body shop voucher which I need to put 50p to to get what I want. I will do this on my next spend day.
still £4 to donate to charity. Will look for who I'd like to give this to. Let me son put £1 in the charity tub at hospital yesterday.
my tasks for this week are - clean kids toys for our garden, & clean my windows.
grateful for - my mother in law helping me with the kids & doing some gardening for me (she's very good), hub being back tomorrow & my boss bringing us all chocolate bars (I brought mine home for the kids at s later date)
Missed reading/ posting last night, as was just soooo tired after a long day at work and laptop was playing up.
19 NSD: you have 12 days to spend, so use them wisely, 1/19.
Foodbank/ charity donation of £5. - monthly DD to WWT gone out.
Pay to your debt/savings FIRST and live off the rest. - done
Plan the month: every single day: what you are doing, what you are eating, especially with the Bank Holidays and half term, birthdays, anniversaries. - to do (started - a lot of it involves work, as the main exam season is almost here! ).
Check in every day. ok
Today will involve a trip to PO to post fleabay packet - but buyer has obv paid postage (and I'm going to use free RM survey stamps) so should still be NSD... will report back in later
x
I am the master of my fate; I am the captain of my soul
I hope everyone is doing OK. Looks like there's some sunshine in the works today!
Yesterday was supposed to be a NSD but we simultaneously ran out of toothpaste (i thought we had a tube in the back of cupboard somewhere but it turns out we didn't) and cat food (again, thought we had another bag, we didn't :doh: )
I am grateful that we had a very productive day though - tall one's phone contract runs out at the end of this month so he switched to a SIM only which will save us about £16 a month, sold some perfume i was given as a gift but will never wear, signed up to some survey sites and put in my availability for half term holiday work.
I'm also very proud of a knocked together from the back of the fridge, fishless kedgeree i made for dinner. I'd planned to put some smoked mackerel we got from the fishmonger last week in it but alas it had been left too long.
My goal for the rest of the week is to make sure no more food gets thrown out.
I hope everyone has a great day and the opportunity to get outside and see the sun while it's with us
:rotfl:so already I need to retract a spend day- cats need food.Not to worry though as I would have needed to go at some point this week. That puts me back on 1. I am aiming for 4 this week and 5 per week thereafter.
Did order my bath bombs though, lovely little treat at almost free :j
Early check in - may have as early a night as I can (when DS2 and DS3 are asleep - DS1 @ 18 is usually awake later than me anyway! )
19 NSD: you have 12 days to spend, so use them wisely, 2/19. Fleabay packet posted with RM survey stamps. Am only leaving the house now to put bins down the drive ready for the morning. Staying in apart from that!
Foodbank/ charity donation of £5. - monthly DD to WWT gone out. Bag of toiletries and small toys donated to shoebox appeal
Pay to your debt/savings FIRST and live off the rest. - done
Plan the month: every single day: what you are doing, what you are eating, especially with the Bank Holidays and half term, birthdays, anniversaries. - to do (started - have written in work days, day when collecting DD from uni, DS3's, my mum's, my sister's, my aunt's and bestie's husband's bdays... Am not going to plan food, though).
Check in every day. ok
Ate some frogs today - as usual, they weren't as bad as feared.... :T Still have some others to much, and 1 of the earlier ones has come back with a follow up query, so I need to deal with that now.....
Today I am grateful for:

* not spending
* DS3 being sweet
* no after school/ evening activities on :j
* catch up tv to watch whilst ironing
I am the master of my fate; I am the captain of my soul
