Thinking about it, the rate rise will be of little consolation to those that don't actually have the ability to have the full £1500 in there.
What do they get as a sorry?0 -
I read online somewhere that the 5% interest rate is effective from 2nd May for a year, has anyone had this confirmed?0

Any idea at all where you read this?

I don't think anyone is needing repeated confirmation that the rate will be 5% from tomorrow (as this thread was created to discuss that piece of information), but believe that RG2015 was specifically questioning where djpix99 had seen that this rate would apply for a year, as the MSE piece says it's indefinite and there's no mention of a year that I can see on the Twitter thread. And here

I really must take a leaf out of your book and learn to be more precise in my posts!0 -
Has anyone had their interest. I just opened one of these TSB accounts a few weeks back & not had my interest today ( or the £5 for 20 debit card transactions) Dunno whether just to wait a day or 2 before chasing it up0

Disclaimer: With all their current troubles it wouldn't surprise me if it's not paid at the end of the first working day of the month (as it always is).0 -
You're actually considering enquiring - to TSB of all banks - because your £3-odd of interest isn't showing before the end of the 1st day of the month??Has anyone had their interest.
