You see my problem with your anger at Amazon is that a lot of it seems to be because they refunded the old card first. But from your posts, it seems you expected them to have clairvoyance and to know just because you changed your card details on your account with them, that they should refund that card instead of the one you paid with. It doesn't work like that, they have no idea why you updated/changed your card details. And they cannot just refund onto any card that you happen to have updated your account with.
You also have anger because once notified them of the missing money, you don't give them any reasonable time to correct the mistake, you expect them to just refund you again before allowing them to confirm the money did not go through.0 -
I can't see what Amazon have done wrong either. It's quite standard to get refunds to the card you paid with. Just updating your account details doesn't tell Amazon they shouldn't use those details any more, just like any other company wouldn't know. It's only been a week since they sent the refund to the wrong details. It seems unreasonable in expectations to have it done any sooner or for them to have known beforehand that the card was stolen."She is quite the oddball. Did you notice how she didn't even get excited when she saw this original ZX-81?"

thanks all.
Actually I didn't mean to thank the post, I pressed the wrong button!
Anyway, where have you got they have every choice from? Do you have a source to this saying a retailer can refund any card? If not, Where are you getting this from? And you thinking they have every choice, is not an official source of information!0
