Thank you, it’s trying to resist the urge to go to the shops for top ups. I’m sure that’s what drives up the grocery budget every month. I have plenty of food in the cupboards so if I do venture out, it will only be to take out the rubbish or for walk that does not go near any shops!savingholmes said:Glad you have managed to stay on plan. I'm getting our food delivered - as it stops the fritter spend to a degree - well worth the £5 I pay for deliveryAchieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

I will look at food delivery again, we did shop this way many moons ago and it did keep up on budget.savingholmes said:I'm getting our food delivered - as it stops the fritter spend to a degree - well worth the £5 I pay for deliveryGood news today debt has fallen into the £10k, only just but I’ll take that for a win! Mum has had her first vaccine dose, as a clinically vulnerable person this third wave has been very worrying especially as she does suffer in the colder weather.Thirdly I have been using the Fr33Prints app to get some pictures printed not just for us but as gifts for my family. I have only paid £4 in p&p for 25 photos and now have got a free code to get a larger photo printed. In my quest to declutter and organise I have been going through the photos so may scan some from our childhood and print for my siblings and I.Also a NSD as resisted the urge to go to the supermarket and DH ordered a take pizza 🍕 for dinner.🎊Debt Free 8 Jan 2022🎉

I have lots of undeveloped film - I may try and get it developed at some point - you've reminded me.
Well done for reducing the debt. Glad your mum has had her first vaccine does. My parents and MIL have too. Grateful.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

I have spent today 😞 a new budget planner, yoga mat and boots courtesy of Xmas money from my dad with the rest coming from savings.Desperately needed the boots 🥾. They are timberl@nds and were on sale, nearly half price and will get cash back too. Planner was only £5 and yoga mat £16 from @mazon with £5 off code.I decided I needed the planner so I can keep track of stuff in one place, although I do have spreadsheets, I like pen and paper. Im hoping to improve my fitness with yoga a starting running again with c2 5k.🎊Debt Free 8 Jan 2022🎉

My budget diary should arrive today, I’ve also opened up a Monz0 account for spending. I can put money in monthly into pots so I can keep a better eye on what and where I’m spending. Goodbudget doesn’t seem to be working for me anymore. I did a click and collect local fir my boots 🥾 which are also ready to collect. It seems weird to have spent that much money on something for myself.Only 1 more day at work to go then I’m off again. Cannot wait as I have more areas I want to declutter and decorate.🎊Debt Free 8 Jan 2022🎉
