Hallway refresh sounds nice. I've just received a new mirror too. Still debating where to put it.

Have been awake since the early hours when DH got up for work. Decided to take a trip to Arsda and B00ts at 8am. Back home by 10:30 to clean oven and tidy kitchen.
One last wash on and then to change beds. Shall be going to in laws later this evening, part of me is happy as I don’t have to do anything and the other part is apprehensive due to Covid.
Tried to fit in a sleep 🛌 but others decided it wasn’t to be, at least I laid down in the quiet for a bit.
Right better get the washing out to dry and start the looong process of making myself look half decent.
No matter what kind of Xmas it is this year, I’m just glad we are all here 🎄🥰🎊Debt Free 8 Jan 2022🎉

Boxing Day 6k run done this morning and feeling good. I made pain aux chocolat and sausage and egg muffins for brunch. Just going to enjoy a bath before going back to mums for dinner.Actually has not been too bad this year and glad to not be stuck in the kitchen.
Everyone liked their presents and it was good to be together. I realised I had not seen one of my siblings for 2 years due to Covid and glad to have seen them to catch up.🎊Debt Free 8 Jan 2022🎉

Did my last run of 2021 today, it was my furthest run ever and I’m pleased I managed it. Spent most of the day watching TV and relaxing.I am not yet debt free as the loan company have been processing a payment since Xmas and you cannot make any payments. This is my last outstanding debt and I still need to sit down to budget and plan for next year. It’s exciting to know I get to keep all my money.
Sinking funds are in good shape and even have £130 in the Xmas pot for 2022!
We shall be spending a quiet New Years which I am happy for as Xmas was quite full on and tiring. It was still nice to see everyone but there have now been a few cases of covid among family members, thankfully we are all clear for now and DD should be immune for 3 months.
Happy New Year everyone and here’s to new beginnings 🎉🥂🍾🎊Debt Free 8 Jan 2022🎉

I seem to have missed a couple of days but I have kept up with my goals exercise Tuesday was running and yesterday walking. I have managed to Portuguese everyday and have an 11 day streak! 😁
MSE wise I have £900 debt left! DH has managed to save money the last couple of months so will be able to pay off the final amount by the end of the week 🎉
I have been working out some savings goals and with no debt, the monthly outgoings are considerably less meaning I can get a 3 month emergency fund together pretty quickly.🎊Debt Free 8 Jan 2022🎉
