    Thank you @Four_Seasons, @beanielou, @amber03 and @savingholmes.
Mood has definitely lifted and even DH is talking about replacing the flooring and painting walls! He never shows an interest in home decor but he mentioned it last night and the convo started “now that we’re debt free”.
Had a spend in the shops yesterday but all from pots. Decided to read more this year and picked up 2 books in the £shop. One is a detective thriller and the other is a Young Sherlock Holmes book. I do love a good mystery/who done it. Last year I only managed 2 books, quite pitiful when o used to get through several per month. I also need to pop into the library and sort my membership as it’s not syncing with the Libby app. I should get my mum on this too as she is an avid reader, we normally share books.
Should get ready for work, WFH so journey consists of walking to the living room 🤣

    Happy Wednesday,
Not been sleeping restfully the past couple of days so I’m not on top form plus I have a tickle in my throat which won’t go away, LFT due when I get home 😷.
MSE things I managed to cash out £10 on receipt scanning apps, have signed up to a study for an £18 digital card and spends have been kept to a minimum and I managed to snap up a free insulated bottle from work. It’s great, I filled it up with tea at 10am and it’s still hot and after 1:30pm! Much more handy than my big thermos especially if we are going out. This bottle will fit nicely in my bag.
my old workplace seems to have not learned their lesson and things are going from bad to worse. I’m glad I’m not there even though the boss asked if I would come into to sort something out. I politely declined, no amount of money would make me step foot back in there.
Back to work I must go as lunch is finished 😞

Yes @savingholmes I can’t wait to do our home up. It seems like we’ve made do for a while, trying not to spend money but it does need doing as it’s very tired and tatty.

Another bad nights sleep 🛌 really don’t know what’s up with me as I should be sleeping like a baby because I don’t have any money worries now. I will try a hot relaxing bath and some reading tonight to see if that helps.

@Dorisd - I was very like you when we became debt free with not sleeping well but definitely improves over time.  The trouble was that I was a worrier and once we didn't have the money worries I started worrying about having nothing to worry about!  How stupid is that.  Hopefully a nice relaxing bath will do the job tonight.

I didn’t have a bath but a shower it seemed to do the trick and I slept better and woke feeling like I had rested.
Bad family health news yesterday so i
am preparing for the worst. Relative lives in another part of country but we have our emergency fund to cover any travel etc.
Nothing much planned for this weekend just some housework and trip to supermarket.
I shall finish my coffee and think about going for a short run 🏃‍♀️ Got a new bluff and sports bra to try out!
