I have Financial Power of Attorney for my dad who has dementia. He is managing to stay at home with the help of carers, but I can't pay his care bill because I don't have access to his accounts.
I live some distance from him so having access to his accounts on-line is crucial.
i don't want compensation. I want to be able to pay the care bill of an elderly man with dementia. That's the reality of this IT meltdown.
Write to the CEO office with your complaint ceooffice at tsb.co.uk

Can you pay from your own account for now?

For the future, can you set up a standing order to pay the care bill?

Can login in OK and see the balances that match my MS money accounts. But can't see this months or last months statements.

MS says I am ok but I have a TSB credit card approaching the end of a long 0% deal, which is why I need this months statement.

Just to point out that 'the app' might well work but some of us are in the dark ages!
My phone is just that- a phone which doesn't even takes photos! so it would be nice to bank online as the Classic Plus account requires us to have paperless billing and paperless correspondence to get the goodies!

Glad to hear that the CEO won't be getting his excessive bonus this year but rather wonder if they have yet paid the IT specialists for their unique skills!I'm sure there's a word in spanish that would describe the situation......

To be fair, despite the fact that I have initiated a switch to another bank, I can still log in to my account. I haven't been affected at all by this debacle, other than I couldn't access the App a couple of times, but that was probably due to the sheer amount of people trying to access the IT main frame.

This whole mess was completely avoidable. It's been handled very badly and I personally could not justify staying tied to a bank that cannot migrate from one system to another.

To be honest, when I took the free money last year to switch from a previous banking provider, I didn't even know that TSB wasn't a British owned Bank. A few years ago, I was with Santander, but not because I wanted to be with them out of choice, they bought out Alliance and Leicester, so I switched away. And so again, instead of complaining (though I've not been financially disadvantaged by this current mess), I've switched again. It's no great hassle, CASS does the work for me. I hope those that have been affected are compensated accordingly.

Last Saturday I tried several times to log in to my TSB account. It let me in but crashed on me each time and wouldn't let me sign out. When I got up on Sunday morning my computer went in to hibernation mode!! and crashed what ever that is and it cost me £25 at my local computer shop where I bought it 5 weeks before. Using my old laptop I tried on the first of the month to do my £500 transfer to each of my accounts ( 2 current accounts). I got the £1000 in my first account but when I tried to transfer £500 to my second account it logged me out again. When I tried again an hour later it had done it by itself not once but twice. Nearly was overdrawn then. So then had to go and transfer £500 back. Have I lost you yet ? Now today logged in and my credit card is not showing. Come on IBM Spain sort it quick.
I know TSB was paying 10 million? a month to Lloyds but what a mess they have made of this.

Log Out button back again, but Credit Card Account gone, although it was fine before. They must be working on CC accounts just now.

I just have my basic state pension so not loaded with money but am very savvy moneywise. It seems tsb are saying no one will be out of pocket will refund overdraft fees etc and any charges but I have never had an overdraft or any fees for being overdrawn but still feel hard done by with not being able to see where my money is in my account.
