VICTORIAPLUMB.COM - any experience with this company?

I read the reviews in this post for VP which nearly put me off buying but as I had the plumber booked in and needed units quickly I had to take a leap of faith and purchase from them anyway. I checked all the stock levels on their site from the items I selected and I'm pleased to say everything turned up on time exactly as I'd ordered, it's all good quality stuff considering the reasonable pricing. The square bath with free shower screen is excellent and the screen doesn't let any water through onto the floor which is something people often complain about. Would definitely purchase from them again.

Hi there

Can I suggest that you go to your local plumber's merchant? I have now had 3 bathrooms fitted and always bought most items at my local one,getting the same discount that their regular plumbers get, i.e. up to 30%. They also supply from a large range of manufacturers,have all the brochures you will ever want and can recommend about quality etc.
Have had no trouble except with a flush button which they replaced free of charge.
There is a reason why plumbers use them :p:p

I bought an 800mm shower cubicle & tray for £150! (some places charged £2k!)

And the chatsworth basin & loo for £140!

Cannot fault them...delivery on time..nothing damaged...plumber said we got a bargain..we love it all!

In comparison, we bought a £100 loo & sink from b&q last year for downstairs loo & they've chipped a bit.

I know VP amazing quality but for those sorts of prices they are bloody good!

I walked out of bathstore after seeing the prices!

Suppose it depends on budget & how well u dress your bathroom

We used Victoria plumb last year when we renovated our house, refurbed downstairs wc , large bathroom and ensuite, prices were unbeatable and as we were spending a fair amount they offered 10% off on top. Deliveries on time and nothing missing, everything still working fine a year on. Would definately use again

Oh dear. Really in two minds about this one now. Reviews at such opposite ends of the scale it sounds like two different companies! Prices are good and we haven't got a lot of money to redo the bathroom but we had such a godawful experience with b&q doing our kitchen, I'm a bit nervous it might all go horribly horribly wrong.

It is now the 3rd March and I have received nothing.... no goods, no notification, no responses to my constant e-mails and my messages via their website!

Good looking product but what is the point of it if you do not receive it... my advise, and I am a professional contractor, is find another company and do not get sucked in by these guys and their so called "sales" which in reality are not as you can find the same prices elsewhere."

It is also possible that you are giving them a good review just to promote them.... they are an awful company with terrible customer service who makes promises such as 24 hour delivery that they do not have any intention of honouring.... what is more it is only after they have your money that all of a sudden something is not in stock after all...

I have waited for a month since delivery was promised and have received nothing! My next step is the trading standards people!! and no I do not work for one of their competitors... indeed I run a construction company in Russia!

Delivery there does tend to take a little longer.

I've just had a new bathroom fitted with products from Victoria Plumb. Bought in their sale so saved c£1100 and got a quality bathroom for under £800! My plumber's opinion was that all the products were good, solid quality items. Drawers came assembled (which is rare these days) and are on smooth runners. The only slight issue was the toilet pan was cracked (likely dropped by the delivery guy) but customer services were easy to contact and sent a replacement F.O.C. by the next day. Can't argue with service like that! Just wanted to assure other buyers that this is a decent company with decent products and I'm delighted with my new bathroom.
