Thanks Homegrown. Good ideas there and I will try that.

I think I generate so many dishes because I cook from scratch and don’t use processed foods. I also don’t have a microwave so use extra dishes heating things.
i don’t have a draining board or washing up bowl either. Going to prioritise buying both.

    Done
    Jointed turkey and froze
Repacked and form filled for bag to be returned
Made turkey soup and extra stock
Kept on top of all washing up

Cancelled a ticket for an event and got £12 back and sent over to CU account. :money:

    A good day WFH.

There's something about this time of year when I feel like a glass of red wine. Not having it, just saying ;)

It is dark now so the heating can go on :)

I hope you all had a good day :)

Could you wash a few dishes every time you boil the kettle to keep on top of it? I use kettle boiling time to empty the dishwasher and wash delicate things that won't go in it.[/QUOTE]

Thanks HH, Funny you should mention that. I am thinking of getting some hand weights to do some arm exercises whilst I wait for the kettle to boil. Also inspired by you with the f1bit I am once again thinking of getting one. I know I don't NEED one but if it inspires me to move more? Haven't decided yet...

You will find it hard to believe HH as I talk about walking more than I do it, but I actually enjoy walking too. After next week I can schedule my days as I please so I am hoping to get back into it. I might leave it until I have walked every day for a week then get it as a Christmas pressies to myself :)

Good idea, or bottles of water. The 500ml ones are easy to grip and are a reasonable weight.

I had the squirrel man back today. It worked well as he arrived during my break. We are still trying to resolve this.

I chased the handyman (FROG) who used to come out for £25 an hour but the scheme is no longer running. I should have eaten that frog a while back and now it has jumped away!!
I want to buy a new tap and so I need to find a plumber to fit it. If I am unable to do the kitchen a good tap would stop water spraying everywhere. I can at least stop this constant source of annoyance.

I chased the window man (FROG) to see if he can move on price. I asked for him to call tomorrow afternoon as I am off work tomorrow

I texted the decorator (FROG) and had to admit the window was not in so she would not be able to decorate until at least February :(

Thinking of doing the backlog of washing overnight and going to the laundry to dry everything. I have the car so it shouldn't be hard and i can't stand the thought of damp washing hanging about :(

Hope you all okay this gloomy, damp and cold February day.

Thanks HH. I just swallowed my final frog of the day by leaving a message with a potential plumber!
