So today I went into the office without any food packed. I had food in but nothing prepped. The kitchen is a tip too, so I left for work empty-handed. :( I had to pay for the Christmas party too. I paid travel costs…Anyway, If you have read this diary before you will know my disorganisation costs me dear on a regular basis. I ate poorly and spent too much. I hate it when this happens. It is such a waste. I’m not even going to add it up, I’m just going to put it behind me.

Tomorrow will be a NSD for sure!

Tomorrow I work from home so I will also:

    Pot roast a chicken
    Prep a giant salad box
Cook a lentil and veggie soup
Cook some lentils and tahini sauce

That lot should form the basis of some meals for a while

I will get the dishes washed, rubbish out and fill a bag of stuff for decluttering

So that’s the plan for Saturday. I’m determined to sort the house out this weekend. Enough is enough!

    Happy weekend :)

  • It has felt a bit crazy this week and everything is up in the air. Amazing how quickly chaos takes over really. So I was up at 6am today and so far:

    Dishes X1

Backpack ordered and due to collect tomorrow (going to use click and collect more often as it saves time and delivery charges)

Manky kitchen cloths washed in machine

Chicken prepped (with bunches of herbs that were YS) and in pot

    Back rooms aired (despite cold)

    Vaporising grapefruit oil

1/2 a living room hoovered and organised

Shopping list started (for household cleaning items)

I am WFH today but I am feeling motivated to get a grip today!

    Happy Saturday :)

You are so busy these days , getting your bargains , cleaning cooking , there is no stopping you.

Not long until you finish DIA. Are you staring making plans yet for your sabbatical?

Thanks HH and Cumbria. Although if I hadn’t let it get into such a state there wouldn’t be so much to do.:o

I have ticked off items I’ve been going on about for ages this week like my kettle. The backpack I collect tomorrow wasn’t a bargain but I hope it will save me money in the long run as I can pack food and flask and coffee cup and water!

I feel like crisps and wine tonight. I have neither in the house and it is dark and cold outside so instead I had yoghurt and black tea.

    Another 4 loads of dishes!!!
Bins and recycling done and stored outside
    Dining room cleared
    Washing sorted

    Veggie and lentil soup made
    Greens prepped and in fridge
    Salads prepped and in fridge
Whole chicken cooked and in fridge

    A good work day too.

13 days to go until I leave

Have a lovely evening all :)

  • DIA you can’t do it all at once. Trying is madness. You got one offs cleared this week. The routine stuff can always be caught up with. You are doing brilliantly.
