Did someone mention only 17 days til you are off work? :D

Houses are hard work when they are all down to you.

As Beanie says , that's all.

I had blood taken and I was weighed today. I have lost over a stone. :j Most of the weight has gone from my middle so it is especially pleasing. That said I am still far too heavy. The next stone off will help me feel and look so much better, so I am even more motivated to get it off.

I am due back to the GP in a fortnight to go through the blood results. I will aim for another few pounds in the next fortnight. ;)

I took my own cup when I went out and had a free coffee from Waitr0se and a 49p coffee (because I had my own cup) in Pr3t :money:

Bargain of the day was a M and Cole mixing bowl reduced from £12 to £1.20 and 2 pudding bowls reduced from £2.50 to 50p each, nice and deep and round and perfect for soup :money:

I am working from home this afternoon. Still not putting on heat until it gets dark but it is cold today! :money:

    Hope everyone is okay :)

Excellent news on the weight loss and the motivation that it's given you to carry on :) Slow and steady wins the race, and it sounds like you're making some lifestyle changes as opposed to hitting a quick fix diet that will fizzle out after a couple of weeks. Good for you!

Wowza to the bargains too :) I got some swimming shorts for my son (with his favourite character on) for £3 this morning, which i was pretty pleased about.

I'm not as restrained as you in keeping the heating off - mine has been on and off all day...

I chose not to sort the house out so it is still a dump. It would have taken my whole day off. Instead I went into town to see if I could find the kettle I had set my heart on.

I spent the majority of the day searching for a kettle that has been discontinued. In the end I found a branch with the kettle in their discontinued stock in a drawer! The good news is it was the last one and I got it at a 50% discount. :money: I now have more counter space. I should be able to reduce my electricity bill now as I boil the kettle multiple times and gas is cheaper. Plus I LOVE the kettle. Very stylish and Japanese :)

I found the boots I wanted in my size and there was 25% off. :money::D

I bought more undies so I can wash clothes less often and save electricity that way too.

    I chased the window quote

A spendy day but very much planned spending. I am exhausted. I find shopping tiring plus the squirrels are disrupting my sleep

I hope you are all having a good day :)

The kettle is the thing I am most happy about. A kettle on the stove makes me feel happy :)
