I’m not eating or thinking about frog’s today. Frog eating will resume tomorrow…
Yesterday was lovely. In the end we had a river walk, a coffee, went to the market and took in an exhibition at a gallery too. I arrived home exhausted again. I think this is partly low iron, but also due to not eating properly during the day. How many times will I leave the house without my lunchbox? Packing one today!
I spent on coffee, paper and snacks, shopping, fares. £27 in total yesterday. It is a lot but to be honest I’ve stopped sweating it. Meeting people and doing things costs and this will all calm down after Christmas. The only thing I would do different is pack a lunch in future.
I’m off to a nativity in a few hours but still need to wrap presents to take. I will also be visiting my relative. It is a long drive with countless road diversions so not looking forward to it. It is what it is.
So the good news is it’s the Sunday before Christmas, the days are getting longer and we have all made it through most of 2108. If you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

I hope you all had a lovely Christmas day.
Thank you to all those who posted me happy Christmas wishes :A
I was out on Christmas Eve and drank too much so I did not follow through with Christmas day plans but hey ho, over for another year…
I did not do the Christmas Eve YS trawl, instead I was treated to champagne at a champagne bar as a present. What a turnaround So, this is the first year I have got to Boxing Day without eating a mince pie and all the other Christmas type treats. So today, I was on the look out. MnS were not great although I did get a Christmas GF fruitcake and some chocolates at half price
The best buys were from MrS. I found 4 packs of free range filleted chicken thighs 75% off and some GF sausages with the same discount. I have some salmon steaks at half price too.
I find bras are so expensive that I wait for the sales if I can. I bought two new ones, £14 for the two. I bought some very soft PJs for my sick relative and slippers for me (I am wearing them as I type. Bliss to have warm feet.)
I am very pleased with my shopping today
A busy day tomorrow that includes a long drive, family visiting, supper out and a trip to the ballet for another Christmas treat

Have a lovely time at the ballet DIA. I have fond memories of seeing both the Kirov and the Bolshoi when they came to Brum years ago. Utterly amazing.
