  • Today was spent with my GS. He is a few hours away so it took most of the day but it was worth it. I phoned my sick relative but did not end up seeing him. I will try again at the weekend. So the day disappeared without doing any exercise. In addition I went from 9-6pm fuelled on breakfast and snacks. Hardly any fruit and veg. Then I ate chocolate this evening and a sandwich.

So, tomorrow I am making healthy food:

    Pot roasted turkey and sprouts
    Lentil, turkey and vegetable soup
    Coconut quinoa with kidney beans

I don’t have very many veggies in again so I have decided to restart my veg box. It will arrive on Friday. I am getting the most basic seasonal box once a fortnight and one other item. It will come on Friday. The box is variable but they are good if you find fault with any veggies and they refund any dodgy items. I will make a point of checking and emailing them straight away. It can be annoying but I always eat better when I have this box and the veggies are mostly excellent.

I am going to start both shopping and meal planning Friday to Friday to save money, eat better and feel better :)

No. I heard them last night. I am going to try one of those sonic thingies but I imagine they will just hold a party and dance to the sonic sound...

Oh DIA - I can't even imagine the frustration you're feeling about all this. Particularly when you have to keep throwing money at the problem and it' not yielding long-term results. Fingers crossed you get to sleep before they start their nonsense tonight...

Thanks Homegrown the only way to end it is is to do the fascias, a big job that involves scaffolding. I am saving for this to do after the window.
