I woke up with a migraine today. :( Not nice, but not unexpected after my irregular eating yesterday. It isn’t fully blown and after a morning of naps, darkness and slow movement it is going away.

I made soup, pot roasted turkey and quinoa so the fridge is looking brighter. I have veggies arriving on Friday.

I had a delivery of clothes. This company sizes strangely so I had to buy 2 sizes of trousers. I now have some great trousers and a shirtdress. Both were terrific bargains. The dress reduced from £140 to £40 and the trousers from £115 to £55. I am sending back a skirt and some trousers. These clothes are great quality and I will be wearing them for a long time so I am pleased. :)

I’m feeling tired so I do not plan to achieve very much today. I will stay home, have a NSD and clean up my surroundings.

I hope you are all having a good day

    Parking ticket £65

    Lost gloves £26

Rubbish coffee out £5.50 (paid for friend too)

TOTAL WASTED MONEY PAID OUT TODAY =£95.50

Paid for lunch for a Christmas treat with a friend =£18.95

Today has been so expensive and now I have cold hands when I go out too :(

Okay, no one got hurt or died, but this is not a good MSE day :(

INOD always lists 3 things to be grateful for no matter how her day went, so here goes:

There was a time when I couldn’t pay a fine and now I can
Homemade soup ready to eat when I got in after beautiful but tiny food at lunchtime ;)
    A bright Winter’s day

I hope your day was less wasteful

    I Believe.....
That it isn't always enough, to be forgiven by others.
Sometimes, you have to learn to forgive yourself.

Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery
Today is a gift. That's why it is called the present.

happiness isn't achieved by getting extra things,
but by getting rid of the things that make you unhappy
  • Sorry about the fine and lost gloves :( but as you said at least you can afford to pay for them now.
