Yesterday was disasterous. Woke up to find DH had used the last of the coffee pods.
Had to shop on the way back from dropping the kids at school.

    Today will be NDS 12
Going to sort the pantry and organise everything to within an inch of its life.

While hiding from pollen. Which is hideoldus. Being allergic to breathing is rubbish. I would like a refund please.

Sneaky £38.70 o/p to mortgage again. Still on budget but will need to steal £80 from savings to pay for the rest of the plasterer next week (boo!) for 3 days until I can pay myself back.

Not spending much as I am trying to stay in as much as possible.
Must dig out the inhaler they gave me for the 'pollen asthma' in case this gets worse. Feel rotten not taking the kids to the park, will ask DH to step up.
Being told you are just an extreme case does not help. There, whinge over. Sorry.

Gratitudes - that my hayfever has only been this bad for the last 6 years.
The kids seem to be growing out of it. After school football club for the youngest 2 today. That it is FRIDAY!!
For not having to have the heating on
For drying washing on the line
For planting some lettuce seeds and basil, tomatoes and courgettes. Just in case they fancy growing (no pressure, setting the bar low).

    Morning all.

Doesn't seem to be as warm here today as yesterday, probably a more normal April temperature. Yesterday I wore my favourite summer skirt, when I got home from the school run DS pointed out that I had ripped a massive hole in the back of it. When I say massive I mean massive, my entire backside was exposed and the worst of it is I don't know when it happened:eek:. How did I not notice?

Cycling again this morning then cleaning and dog walking.

Not an NSD, picked up some naughty groceries. I wasn't going to starve, but I just fancied some salady bits and ice cream. I am using the ice cream in some cones, and salad with some bits in the freezer, so they're sort of helping me with my using-up-stores target. Made my own bread rolls (with help from the breadmaker) rather than buying a pack so feel slightly better about that, am using up some cheap veggie burgers with them - and piles of salad of course.

    Groceries: £107.91/£200

Grateful for: unborn little one being well, colourful tulips (they've just about all come out together, though some are on their last legs), walking to the post box (even if it did bloody hurt :)), the outside smelling like spring.

    Good evening all
I've been MIA for a little while, ridiculous workload left me shattered in the evenings. And I've been away for the weekend to run the Brighton Marathon.
The break was a good refresh and I'm back in the grove.

I had a spend day every day over the weekend, I wasn't going to count necessities like eating out, but I did buy a new Garmin running watch, as mine died on the journey up (typical timing!). I didn't really want to spend £200 on a new one but luckily found a decent one in CEX for £35. :D
The only other major thing was my entry fee for next years marathon (cheaper entry over the weekend) so kept it fairly sensible.

Aim for at least [STRIKE]15[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]25[/STRIKE] 22 NSDs. 12/22 NSDs. Not going to make my 25 target, so now aiming for 22, which is no spends for the rest of the month.
[STRIKE]Pay to your debt first.[/STRIKE] Mums monthly payment made.
Report in every day. Back again
Interests - Gaming. Played lots of Pokemon over the weekend. Caught Mew, which made BF very jealous. :p
Love yourself. Went swimming on Tuesday, which eased my aching legs perfectly. Set myself a target of 50 widths and completed them all (I'm not a strong swimmer so I was pleased to hit this target)
Find time to get outside. Lots of walking over the weekend 40k steps Saturday walking around the shops, 63k on Sunday (thanks to the marathon)
Overpay - Still chipping away at the surveys.
Organise your month. Rest of the month should be quiet.
Lose one bad habit. - Not practicing my sax. Music lesson today. Now the marathon is out of the way this is my new focus.
Sign off with a gratitude. Today I am grateful for a light and delicious tea - chicken & bulgar wheat salad.
