    sashanut - enjoy your hols.

Dull again here today and rather windy too. Was going to go cycling first thing but it is just too gusty so will run later.

No plans to spend today, nothing spent yesterday, all meals from stores. All rather boring tbh.

    Hi All

    A- today is NSD #9/15
P-budgets still the same, still skint ha.
    R-Hello :D
I-did some baking with my son and his friend who came to play yesterday
L-another Harry Potter film watched, I cannot wait to watch the next one tonight. I have become a bit of a fanatic 10 yeqars after every one else. I have been meaning to read the books and watch the films since I was about 15 & I will be buying the first book on my next spend day
F- went to the park yesterday with my son and his friend, it it sooo nice to be getting them out again,
O-seems unlikely at this point that I will save any more. we have decided that the coin jar is for our garden in our new home, when we actually buy one. Hopefully next year.
    O- cleaned my car yesterday
L- staying off my phone today and I have got a lot done :)
S- grateful my bloods have come back clear, that my boys are settling in better at nursery & for my greass getting better as the weather improves
  • Having a terrible month money wise- only managed 8 NSDs. School holiday entertainment has wiped me out.
Love yourself- now 9 days of no alcohol- not as hard as I thought.
    Weather is a washout.
Full on at work, trying to stay positive.
Very tired, will be grateful for a hot bath and a good sleep!

Accidental spend day today, completely forgot to bring any lunch with me to work so had to pop out and get something. Rarely happens but I'm not going to beat myself up too much.

The plan was to go to kickboxing this evening, but I really wasn't feeling it, so then I thought I'd go swimming, but felt the same about that in the end, so asked OH if he fancied a walk this evening. He said yes but had a few things to do, so I came home, have done about two hours of studying, still no sign of OH so will probably not do any real activity today after all! Must do better tomorrow! Think I'll go swimming after the chiropractor.

Today I'm grateful for sunshine and for getting loads of my dissertation done - it finally feels less scary now!

Productive evening. Weeding, trimmed the rosemary bush within an inch of its life and sorted the recycling bins. They told us the use will change after they were last emptied and nearly full again. So had to empty them in the drive and re-sort. Love the longer days, and got the kids tired outside too

    Hopefully some reading tonight

Lcc - good to hear that you are winning against the dissertation!

Today I am grateful for dd skipping in to school, for a really good session with my counsellor, for bus adventures to get where I wanted to go, for easy bus travel, for a lot of walking, for being able to do another kettlebell workout, for elephant making, for a good chat with dh, for dh buying us a car (!).

Taxi to and from doctor's, spent on food at little shop there and came straight home to bed. Everything hurts and it's quite difficult to find a comfortable position to sit or lie in (I will not feel sorry for myself). Took bags with me as I was hoping to make a start on mum's shopping but no chance. Slow hobble round the infirmary. Have an appointment for another steroid injection next week.

Ate whilst waiting for the taxi home, took painkillers, slept, ate, woke briefly (did not stay awake long enough to take teatime pill), woke 7pm - where did my day go?. Phoned mum to check on her - she is feeling really good but thought I didn't. Nurse visited today and people will be calling in over the next three days so she will not be alone. Cut has healed well and been left without a dressing - they will check again but think it will be okay.

Life is a matter of balance and for me, atm it is knowing when I could and should do more and when I just have to settle down and give my body a chance to heal. Killer headache is back but that may be because i am drinking less water (because it's difficult o get up and downstairs and the abthroom tap doesn't fill the bottle properly - get just as much in a cup). Need to update my mood chart and then it may be an early night.

    Hugs to everyone.

Today I am grateful for hot baths (blissful), for good reading matter, for puzzles to test if I am thinking logically (bit hit and miss atm) and for easy food. DS3 has paid me - he owed me a payment. Will it count for the challenge that I get two payments off him this month (he pays me, from one of the pots of money he has coming in, every four weeks, but as I budget monthly, his birthday month has a 'bonus' payment. Otherwise it will have to be all the money I have found whilst clearing up.
My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.
