NSD No 3. Weather appalling so didn't get for a walk again.
We spent 45 minutes on the phone trying to contact DWP to start Himself's pension claim. Apparently we can't do it on line because the address they have for him is different from where we stay. Can't think why - he's been here for 15 years. Still didn't manage to get through. Thought we'd just do it by post but the printer decided it didn't want to print the 29 pages (?) of the form. Gave up. Will try again another time.
Soup we took out of freezer for lunch was inedible so we had toast and poached egg instead.
On the plus side defrosted and tidied both freezers. What a lot of rubbish is in there. Himself will freeze anything and then can't remember what it was. So my mission (apart from using up what can be used) is to sneak some unknown piece of something into the food recycling every day without him noticing.
It's been a bit of a trying day but I've resisted the chocolate and crisps so far.
    Plodding on!!
Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.

Today I am grateful for seeing mum, for dd being up for a rather long walk, for fun in the charity shops, for smooth bus journeys, for a chat with dh, for getting the recyc out of the house.

Checking in to report NSD #2. I didn't get outside unless you count a long drive across country but I did overcome the procrastination problem and get things moving towards a career change. Back to work tomorrow and I am going to make an effort with the clothes and make up.

Grateful for space, time to think and an understanding family.

NSD number 3 today, met up with a friend after work and we had some nibbles but she insisted on paying as I refused payment for an upcoming birthday event I've planned, so I guess it all evens itself out. Also registered for the second module of my Masters today. 2019 is gonna be a long year :rotfl:

Today I'm grateful for catching up with friends and making time for stuff I enjoy. Ooh I also found some free chairs sitting in someone's driveway so thought I could use them in the garden in summer (I didn't steal them, they said they were free! :p)

Was a spend day. Brought a parka jacket from M&S, did have a free £5 M&S voucher to use so used that, also Victoria sandwich cake. Brought a word search book(this would be counted as an interest and hopefully take my mind off things). Also went to cinema with 2 friends. The man who served me kindly gave me a discounted ticket. Got a few bits for dinner round friend's
Walked to my friend's flat this afternoon.
    Wore perfume today.
Done some of my jigsaw and mindful colouring.
Did put some full coin bags into my savings account - £75. Have got more full coin bags to be put into my savings. Also changing my ISA to a better interest rate.
Am struggling to keep off social media.
    Grateful for:
    Enjoyable time at the cinema.
Managing to achieve a few things this morning.
    Chilled out afternoon and evening.

    Evening :)

    NSD: 3!
Interest/hobbie: 3 days of meditation. (after tonight) I do it at bed time, last night without any guidance and I've slept better these last two nights than I can remember in a long time.
Love yourself: I shaved my legs and under arms. I often 'don't bother' :(
Outside: I still haven't managed a walk, so I'm going to adjust my goal to just once a week. That seems easier to achieve and something I can then work on as a foundation.
Overpay: After putting more weekend availability down, I've now taken it off. I do enough and I'm trying dial back work so I can have a life. I'm doing the £10 a day challenge and that will just have to be enough. I'm on track to pay my debt off by Christmas and I'm comfortable with that.
Organise: Food for each day is organised. I've taken a tub out for tomorrow nights tea. Still no social events on the horizon.
No snacking: I ate my Easter egg tonight but I'm still counting it as a no snacking day, so that's 2 so far.
    3 Things: I'm thankful that I have a job.
I'm thankful I'm healthy enough to work
I'm thankful that the sun came out today, even if it wasn't for long.

I feel like my list is kind of getting shorter as I become aware of what I'm able to do and achieve this month. But it's certainly helped me to focus.
