See the Becker Store for more details.
Well it's £299 on there so at £99 that's some saving - is it any good though?0 -
As I've said, i've got a very similar model (PNA205) that cost 60 quid from Tesco this spring. That review does not reflect my experience of the device. Yes, the address database isn't always 100%, but it's usually pretty good and i only tend to have problems with the occasional postcode.I would AVOID the £60 Medion GOPAL PNA 210 at all costs. You get what you pay for basically, and the Medion is rubbish. You would probably be better off without one, definitely safer without one, when it goes wrong mid drive and you have to faff around with it to try and get it working again putting you in danger. Don't waste your money.

Pay a bit extra and get a TomTom, you won't regret it!
The device tends to acquire and hold satellites very quickly
It has never gone wrong 'mid-drive' and i've been using it for 6 months.
Poor reviewer in my opinion.. exemplified by this statement:
Aww, he couldn't work out how to use the suction pad so he had a paddy and moved his short attention span to the next one. We tend to keep ours in the boot and only get it out when necessary. Even my technophobe OH can use it quickly. This guy must have been a lazy idiotAt that point, it fell off the windscreen for the third time. We took that to be a bad omen, so left it in the footwell and fixed the next candidate to our dashboard.
This device is not perfect, but it has proved vital to me on my travels0 -

Road Atlas £2.99 from book man at work, lasts 10 years no batts or updates required.
Going some where new try Google maps or Map24.com, easy costs 2 pages of print, do it at work FREE. :beer:0 -
An atlas that never goes out of date - where do I sign up?? Your atlas isn't going to quickly give you the quickest route out of a city. It's not going to calculate your journey times for you or tell you where the nearest petrol stations are.Road Atlas £2.99 from book man at work, lasts 10 years no batts or updates required.
Google maps is all well and good but unless you carry around a laptop and printer in your car, they're not great when you get lost and don't know where you are. Also, not all journeys are planned in advance enough to allow time for you to print a journey off at work.0 -
Hi!
I need advice. I am deaf and I need a TomTom for europe. I have been advised to get tomtom because they are very clear. But I am not sure what model is best for me (visually - must be able to show directions on screen without sounds)
Many thanks0 -

Screen size, the new TomTom XL is probably one of the biggest. It has a 4.3" screen and is very readable even in bright sunlight.
The European version is £193 at PC World:
