People who have used the vouchers more than once should consider whether they should order again. I 'think' LXDirect are sending out letters demanding money back for the vouchers!

I order a Dyson and got charged the full amount on the 22 Oct + a £2.95 p&p.  after having to conceed to the £25 and free P&P vouchers. That left the 20% off voucher they aggreed to, which equates to £40. I still haven't had that discount refunded, so I guess they're not going to. How long had people had to wait for the voucher to be refunded ? Oh, and I haven't had a letter from them either!

...is this a scam they would usually play, in that you've had the goods for a while and the discount isn't refunded - so you phone them up and as you had the goods for longer than the distance selling duration, you can't send it back!

Hmmm, it's either coincidence or there really is an insider lurking.

I just got back my desk at work after a coffee break and saw that I had been called about 1/2 an hour ago but no voice mail was left.

So I rang the 0870 number back and found that it was from Littlewoods Extra as that's what the pre-recorded message told me.

The message went on to say it was a courtesy call and nothing to worry about as they would try to contact me again later.

Strange eh!

I tried a load of them today with no joy.

The ones ive used previously on PS2 games are definately not working. I wanted PE4 for £15 and had no joy with the £15 off and free P&P offers ive used before.

It really does make you wonder if people actually read the previous posts! There are numerous posts in this thread mentioning that there have been requests from LX Direct to give the discount back.

I've posted a couple of times updates about a single purchase, not getting the discount that was agreed etc.

So, does one not think it a bit of a dodgy gamble to attempt to use the codes NOW when,
1. many have been withdrawn
2. the looming threat of being asked for for the discount back
3. not getting the discount applied altogether after paying full price.
...I'm still waiting for both, a reply in this forum to my question on how long before they refund the discount and actually receiving the discount form LX Direct!

I guess you could try entering a code, as mentioned in many of the previous posts and if it's accepted and applied to the total, then go with it and see what happens. If you get an e-mail asking you to phone them be prepared to either give your date of birth or loose the discount. Also, in one of my previous posts there's a quote to their T&Cs regarding redeeming vouchers.

It's up to you to take the chance and not for us to tell you it works when it's probably hit or miss as to whether they check your particular order or not.


...anyway, just got that call from LX Direct mentioned in my post above. They were just following up on my purchase and wanting to sell me a 5 year cover plan!
