Right.. I've been run off my feet all week.. lost 6lb in the last 2 weeks.. Shame I don't do anything resembling exercise, I'd be like a twig!

DD3's new bed ordered.. I bought 1 mattress to go with it.. I figured as an occasional use thing her old mattress would go on the other bed and be fine. The memory topper she nicked from DD4 can go on DS3's bed and he can shut up whinging before I sew his mouth shut. (He is 19 I can say things like that haha)

OH away to work but he loaded the DW twice and brought the bins round the back, after I threw the neighbours rubbish back in their gardens out of them last night.. they are now parked ridiculously right outside my house.. as if I'm going to care really haha.

Girls all playing in the garden.

Oh.. I ordered more glitter for DD3's paint after I used loads in the bathroom.. and I think that is me skint until October now :/

Oh.. The manbeast has seen sense.. this month he is adding up what he has which goes out in DD's.. and leaving that in his account and paying the rest off his credit card.. he is then using his credit card during the month.. (the interest on his CC is lower than his overdraft) .. This will hopefully mean I don't have to transfer over the money I have budgetted for because he has overspent and is over drawn past his limit. My aim is to get his overdraft paid off and cancelled like I told him to do years ago.

  • Decided my bedroom needed tidying and vacuuming, moved the bed out (I'm in the small box room as my 2 boys share the large room)
:eek::eek: MOTHS in the carpet...:eek::eek: BIG hole in carpet.. (The carpets were already quite gross when we moved in 3 yrs ago, has them all cleaned but you could still see where previous tenants dog foul/tiddle everywhere (poor doggy was shut in far too often :( )
    So..
Out came everything, maticulously cleaned EVERYWHERE!
    CUT CARPET UP INTO STRIPS..
Discovered underlay had been stapled to the floor yet was also disintegrating _pale_
Totally emptied room, used moth killer :( (really don't like chemicals, have used cedar blocks before.. No use here tho!)
Took all remnants double bagged to shed for disposal when tip is open..
Removed all rotten carpet bars.. Ouch.. Stood on a staple  Had a strop..
Removed far far too many staples from floor..
While waiting for treatment to sink in any gaps I washed the bathroom floor.. Let dry whist having a cuppa..
Put EVERYTHING back in room (had a sort out, lots of items not coming back in:T)
Dished up tea, roast chicken dinner and then cleaned the kitchen:eek:
Totally wiped.. Going to sit and read then have a nice soak & bed as working all weekend..
    :easter_os to all:T

Valli we love pass the bomb. Can remember DHs gran playing it with us all at Christmas.

DS upset because his GF has let him down - again. She does this all the time. Guess he is going to go out and get very drunk.

So, some paid stuff done, £120 spent in supermarket, some washing and tidying. Visit to parents, chatted to them about work which was really helpful.

Oh and a missing parcel has finally reached its destination which has been a huge worry, it could have been £80 lost.

Right best take DS to the pub x

This morning's work - if the link works ok, lilies in the church.

Cooked and at lunch with brother and sil.
    Went for a walk.
    Chatted.

    Hmm, doesn't sound very fly-like!

DS2 is unwell again.. same thing.. pukey bug, he got sent home from work today.

I have lost an item I have sold.. I cannot for the life of my find it... however OH is off work tomorrow so he can watch the wee beasties and I shall Gut my pit of a bedroom..

I dug out a bag of clothes which have not fitted since before Squeak.. they actually fit.. I was rather shocked.. I also found a pair of trousers which were too small, they are now too big! Can't win can I? I have a rather lovely lace dress which would be perfect for a tarty night out lol.. With some 'never-nip-my-a$$' knickers it will actually look presentable I think.. shame I have the knees of a cabbage patch kid.. but we can't have everything!

I need to take make time to get my ring cleaned and rhodium plated.. and I have some bits to pick up from the town centre.. I hate mingling with the commoners.. but, needs must.

Yay to your OH's lightbulb moment, pigpen :j

    Beautiful flowers, Narc0 :)

Sorry to hear about the moths, MadamMin.

Glad you had a useful chat with your parents, YL. Hope DS is OK.

Finished the accounting this morning. DH finally got up at 11.45. I picked my friend up just after 12 and took her to our nearest GC, where she bought lunch for us; then I dropped her off back at her house and went into town, where I spent £££ in the Land of Ice and at Willyou-won'tyou-co and used a shopping voucher that I'd won at SW to buy my vitamins at Shoes the Chemist :money:

Returned home at about 3.30 to find DH sitting in his armchair with a blanket wrapped round him, looking miserable. We both sat and dozed for half an hour, then I took Rosie for a short walk in a downpour again :( She was glad to get back quickly! Came home to find DH looking really poorly and running a temperature. Rang the vicar to apologise at very short notice for not going to the service this evening - I was supposed to be singing a new piece that he wanted, and nobody else from the choir was willing to try it - but I was really worried about leaving DH, as it looked as if he might be going down with pneumonia again. As the evening went on he has got neither better nor worse, but he has decided to sleep in the downstairs bedroom rather than climb the stairs. We shall just have to see how he goes on. Fortunately I was planning on being home all day tomorrow, though we were supposed to be going to see DS2 in the evening. That will have to be cancelled too: DH definitely won't be fit to go, even if he's on the mend, and it's an hour's drive from here and I can't leave him for 4+ hours.

The one plus is that I needed to get extra pillows and bedding for DH out of the linen cupboard, so I am in the midst of sorting everything that is in there, as planned earlier in the week :D

Iona, I hope your DH is feeling better today.

Morning flyers, another day for me with DD at her new house interspersed with coming home to walk the dogs.

    Have a great day everyone.
