    morning  :easter:

Came down in my dressing gown for a brew and breakfast to find gifts on my chair :D : a bunch of fleurs, a punnet? of grapes and a bar of nougat :D (I asked DS not to buy me an Easter egg to help with the slinky challenge ;))

I've trimmed the flowers and put them in a vase - wondered where the blood was coming from  I'd nicked the end of my finger on the foil on my meds ... not easy to 'arrange' flowers with a wodge of kitchen towel wrapped round your Peter Pointer, but I managed :).

I've made the bed and l will feed the birds and put out the rubbish and recycling once I'm dressed, but I'm not planning on doing much else - that's what tomorrow is for :D

oh, I had an embarrassing moment yesterday :o nearly lost my trousers at the C00p!! They're elasticated waist and far too big now (I'm two and a half stone lighter than I was at my biggest :T) and by the time I got back to my car they were practically round my knees, and taking my knickers (also too big and saggy) with them . There was much grabbing of fabric - but I may have bared my !!!!! to the car park - actually I know I did :o I briefly felt the breeze. There were no pedestrians in the car park, but a lot of parked cars - I have no idea if they were occupied!!!

And on that note I'll wish you all a good day :D

Dot needs a wild run about.. she has cabin fever I think.
Twinkle has choked on a satsuma pip and vomited her breakfast.
Squeak was rolling about on the sofa flashing her bits.
Pixie is also bored and just being plain irritating..

That vodka in the fridge... it is calling to me already... it's vodka o'clock somewhere right?

I have 3-4 loads of washing to do
    A Kitchen to clean
    A panic to have
    A budget/bank to check

and OH is at work until stupid o'clock tonight.

Yes Piggers, it's vodka o'clock somewhere.
    ATB - glad you're improving
Roundtuit - you made me laugh

Well it is raining, so my gardening is restricted to seed planting in the greenhouse. In the house I have washed up twice, watered the indoor plants and sorted the vases of flowers, made the bed, swept downstairs, put all rubbish and recycling out. Think that's it. Oh no, also got DH to pull out the WM and I cleaned under that. And I've walked the dogs.

Just having a cuppa, then I'll get back out to the greenhouse.

  • I'd tried going to bed but didn't go to sleep, so got up again.

Finally woke Himself up by unleashing two very playful felines into the bedroom, where they proceeded to do a Murder Run over, around and above the bed and his head. He's now refusing to come out until he's calmed down a bit, listening to the radio with his eyes screwed shut.

The felines are rather unhelpfully snoring on the blankets on the sofa/his chair now they've worn themselves out and I'm glaring at the state of the kitchen again, which needs all food thrown out because it's been out on the side for at least 3 days, several sinks of washing up done, the counters scrubbed and the floor decontaminated. And the cup I was last presented with looked like it hadn't been washed in a month.

Have I ever mentioned that I've seriously considered spiking Himself's side of the bed with catnip oil?

children dumped on the floor with a whole easter egg.. they contain just as much sugar and calories if you eat them all in one go as if you eat them in 20 bits so wth.. they are only little once!

I'm freezing today for some reason.. my little trotters are blue..

lunch snaffled, dirty washing brought down.
Emailed British Gas.. and informed them they are incompetent

I may need to go throw some stuff out.. that should warm me up!

Well done atb. Feel your pain with DH, they just need to take a walk in our shoes sometimes.

Oh and speaking of shoes. One of DSs shoes was on the landing, the other in the middle of the hall. One of them is now in the airing cupboard. Will he think he was so drunk that he came home wearing one shoe or will he spot the missing one in the airing cupboard and wonder why he put it there. I have to have some revenge for him getting me up at 4.30am. I really hope he texts his mates to ask them if he was wearing two shoes when they left him.

5 bags of shredded paper and a load of other gibble to tip. Quick visit to MIL and cake eaten. I am going to put on a stone this weekend at this rate.

Oh and Rounduit, yep that got me laughing too. A shopping trip is in order my love!

    Right, more flinging to do!

Nearly five hours spent in the greenhouse planting up seeds. I am now freezing and have cut my finger so have come in to dye my hair and warm up in a bath. Made an attempt to give the dogs a second walk but neither wanted to go further than the garden path.

ATB... I was bored of flinging.. so, I glossed the bathroom.. it needed a second coat.. I have a couple of small bits which I haven't done the second coat so I shall do that when they are dry.

Not sure how it is dinner time already, it has flown by today.

I still intend to do at least one binbags of CS for OH to drop off on Tuesday.

I vacuumed the top stairs and not much else.

Cuppa and dinner for the beastlets I think.
