i find i get about three quarters of the way through some surveys and then they say thay have filled their quota for the target group (or some such) and they pay some token points which aren't worth anything, and they have almost a ful survey of my opinion!

i don't mind it when they say i they have too many females in my age group at the start, or whatever, but when i've already spent 20 minutes....

does this happen to you too??
:D2010 MFW Challenge No. 112 Mortgage paid in full 27/08/10 I was MF!!!:D
But now I'm not - (Joint) Mortgage £104704.
    New MFW target £5000 overpayments by 31/12/2105 £400/£5000 = 8%
    SAVINGS TARGET - £25000 by 31/12/2015 £13643/£25000 = 55%

Yep I hate that too, sometimes I don't bother with surveys because they're so repetitive and some are starting to pay really pitiful amounts but others are well worth the time spent on them. I think I would be amazed how much I've had from them over them last couple of years!

£15 on it's way from Quidco, will send a cheque for overpayment as soon as it clears into my account.

managed to pick up some boys clothes from Freecycle today, haven't had a chance to look through them yet but there are 5 bags!

April already, 3 months until I finish work - no I'm not counting - much!

    Hi

Well done on the free cycle stuff....I was given loads of hand-me-downs when my kids were small. Must have saved me a small fortune:D and most of the clothes were lovely and my kids looked gorgeous....:A When I'd finished with them I passed them on to my closest friend and she passed them on to her cousin.....who lived in Cornwall...I wonder where they are now...?

£15 in bank so cheque on its way to mortgage account, will update total in a mo.

Had another good chat with dh about mortgages (I think he's ill really!) he was talking about how difficult it might be to re-mortgage next summer and if we can't get a good deal then we could end up paying a really poor interest rate, especially as we're with Northern Rock! I think it really highlights how much of an impact overpaying will make to get us into a strong position of how much we owe vs the value of our house at the time and an improved credit history. It's too early to tell what will happen next year but I think dhs' lightbulb is getting brighter and brighter.

HI everyone, a bit quiet here at the mo a couple of survey sites almost up to pay out so hopefully they will happen over the month.

Everything else just plodding along, did a mystery shop today and have got one tomorrow had to remember to get my receipt otherwise I wouldn't get paid. Unfortunately there aren't a lot of opportunities in my area so have to check every day and be quick. Off to Mr T's tomorrow have to ask a couple of stupid questions but otherwise a pretty straight forward shop.

Been on to freecycle again today someone's offering a futon which we have been looking for as best mate coming up to stay for my birthday in a couple of weeks. That would save me quite a bit of money so fingers crossed.

Dh has decided that his walking and camping kit can wait and to put all his extra money from the second job into savings, he's a good bloke - did I mention that!

    That's all for now

    HI everyone,

Another few pounds to add to overpayment this month, a survey site ready to pay out £20.55 won't arrive until end of month so not added to total yet.

    Hi Eva

Just found your thread. Very interesting for me as I am pregnant too ( due July) and also teaching - but littlies. Do you think you will be able to keep overpaying once you are on maternity leave? I would love to but having recently put our predicted income/ outgoings in martin's budget tool thing it came out with a few hundred overspend. Hmmmmmmmm. Think we may have to revert to paying the bare minimum on our mortgage. :(

I hope we can still manage as the over payments come from extra income so it just depends what I will get round to doing!

Our outgoings should reduce a bit as I'm having my dd at home for the six months I'm going to be off and also I will save a bomb in petrol as won't be traveling much at all and everything within walking distance.

Good luck with your pregnancy too, do you know what you're having?
