    Quidco payment sent today will be getting £32.78 so will round this up to £35, again will hang on until dh gets paid then send cheque with the money from mystery shop.

    Think I will ring bank today instead of tomorrow r.e. missing payment as getting fed up and they probably haven't done anything yet.

    Will update total when I send the cheque for overpayment but heading towards £400 for this year so far!

    Ok back on track, missing payment has now been sorted apparently it cleared on 2nd April so I don't know what they were doing with it - any charges are going to be thrown back at them.

    Phew right back to the over payments then!

    Hi everyone, have been busy trying to finish assignments for my PGCE - still 7 more to do, luckily only short!

    In terms of finances I'm not going to be able to make any overpayments this month apart from when I pay the monthly payment as have the following outgoings:

    * Brother home from army so going out for meal tomorrow plus quiz night on Sunday
    * Need to get a chest of drawers for our bedroom as getting rid of wardrobes through freecycle so we can fit in the crib for the baby, nothing offered on freecycle so will have to get cheap as poss.
    * Car Tax due, going to pay 12 months so we're not hit with it a Christmas
    * Something else that I can't remember!
    * Oh niece coming to stay for week in half term so will be out and about

    Never mind still happy with progress and will make more effort next month.

    A really interesting thread which inspired me to pay an extra £100 of our mortgage tonight which I had sitting in my Paypal account doing nothing.

    So thanks

    good luck with the assignments.

    didn't realise you were doing pgce! (probably haven't read something somewhere which i should have!!)

    one of the jobs i'm just going for is teacher - have been out of the system here for a while though, and the specialism they want is IT so i don't think i've got much chance.

    sounds like you've got a fun time over the next couple of weeks though, even if the overpayments will suffer a bit......you still need to ENJOY yourself, so have fun!!
